I have 5 Crucial SSDs, and have never had any problems. My first was several years ago, for speedy database storage. Replaced hard drives in desktop & laptop for an increase in speed. Very reliable - that goes for their RAM, too.

Mine came in the Frustration=Free packaging and included the spacer that you might need to adapt the 7 mm drive to replace a 9 mm drive. I used a Sabrent Tool-Free Hard Drive Enclosure and Macrium Reflect (Free software) to clone the original 160GB HDD to the new 250G SSD. The Macrium software allowed me to increase the size of the C: partition so that no capacity would be wasted. Using Macrium Reflect to clone a drive, you may increase a partition size before you select the next partition

Should be plug and play on my old Windows 10 Dell, but my machine doesnt see it. for some reason. May be a wetware issue, so Im not returning it.

Free version of Acronis for data transfer/cloning. Drive is super fast and will really improve the performance of any laptop/PC
