Crucial MX500 1TB 3D NAND SATA 2.5 Inch Internal SSD, up to 560MB/s - CT1000MX500SSD1

Ive upgraded 8 PCs with 1TB SSDs thus far. 1 Samsung 870 EVO, 1 SK HYNIX S31 and 6 Crucial MX500s. The SK Hynix had disk performance about equal to the Crucial, a price slightly higher than the Crucial and an easy to use and yet the slowest Macrium clone software(10+ hours). The Samsung had the best disk performance, highest price and the most troublesome clone software. Kept getting Samsung Data Migration interrupted for an unknown reason. Eventually had to shrink the partition sizes to get it to clone in about 2 hours. I had cloned this same PC onto a Crucial MX500 1TB earlier that week quickly without issue. The Crucial MX500 had performance just behind Samsung, the best price and easiest and the fastest Acronis clone software(around 1 hour). I am the IT manager for a manufacturing company and maintain around 40 Windows PCs.

I purchased this for my husband as requested for Father’s Day. He copied the old information onto a backup drive, installed this drive, then moved the backup info over. It cut the load times in half, literally. As an added bouns, the SSD runs MUCH cooler than the standard drive and the fan is very queit now. If you still play your PS4 I highly recommend this SSD, you’ll love it!

Ist bereits die dritte MX500 die ich verbaut habe. Bisher keine Probleme mit dieser und den beiden anderen. Auch die beworbene Geschwindigkeit wird erreicht! Würde ich auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

Died in 7 months.

Best upgrade, along with ram, for my girlfriends 5 year old laptop. She uses it for paying bills, watching videos and surfing the web. Turns on really fast.

We have 766 of these deployed in customer workstations since 2014. And havent had a failure on any of them so far. Kind of amazed. Thought i would come here to show my appreciation for these devices. Its a welcomed change to no longer see workstations on my bench with drive failures.
