The S1A is a good filter, but be careful when ordering. If you select the 4-pk, you will be ordering a different filter due to a system glitch and may not notice - based on first hand experience.

Very effective in filtering out stuff we dont like in our water supply.

Glad I found these on Amazon subscription services. Since our well water is so rusty we need these every month and at half the cost of buying from the big box store its a great deal. I wish they would last a little longer as ours clog up so fast and when they were whirlpool brand before cullingan took them over they seemed to last longer. Overall still good for heavy sediment removal. Please let me know if this review was helpful.

These filters are the Culligan brand. They are the real thing Saved us a trip to the hardware store. Will buy again if needed.

Great product and price!!

This product is great for filtering the fine particulate in our communitys private water system. Since we also tend to have mud in the water after big storms, the filter captures most of the red mud color, too. I am able to remove the filter and rinse it to remove the majority of the mud, larger particles and a bit of the red clay color.

I am running this filter after a water softener on a well. This filter filters out just about all sediment and my water is just about clear. There is still a little tint to it but a lot better than any of the other filters I have tried including the activated carbon filter. The main test will be how long this filter lasts. If I can get three months I will be happy.

Easy to install, seems to be doing the intended job.
