I have a wooden cutting board that I needed to oil. Wasn’t sure what vegetable based oil was. Found it on Amazon. The best place to find anything. Very easy to smear on and wipe off.

Revitalizes my wooden boards and also adds a layer of water repellency, which makes me feel like the protection offered is super real. Nice liquid consistency, very easy to apply and spread around. I wont use anything else!

This board was severely neglected. Its owner forgot it and left it outdoors for a year. No amount of oil will fix the warping and expansion this little guy endured, but after a thorough washing and oiling, it can have a new life in my kitchen for cleaving. This oil has a neutral smell and is pretty viscous. This poor little board drank a little less than 1/4th cup, but seems happy now.

You get a decent amount of cutting board oil. I didn’t use to know about this product and had went through a few bamboo cutting boards then a friend told me about conditioning them and now they last! Just clean your board and put a little of this on there and you’ll have them a long time!

I made 5 charcuterie boards for a pre wedding Meet and Greet the family event and used walnut boards I had stored for 20+ years in my attic. The Walrus Oil did what I wanted and was easy to use, It brought the color out and looked great sealed the wood well so it washed off food particles and looks clean and ready for another party. I got lots of compliments and I will use it again on some projects!!

I had a hearth plate in front of my fireplace that was 1.5 feet wide and 6 feet long and 3/4 in thick. It was made of slate. The problem was that over 1/3 of its length, there was a porous stain that could not be washed off nor be sanded off with fine grain sandpaper. One coat of this oil completely hid the stain and any other small imperfections on the surface.

Sanded, cleaned then added two coats of this oil to my maple & oak cutting board; it looks and seems in near new condition. Since treatment, my cutting board has not significantly faded in color nor has the oil added unwanted taste to foods touching its surface. I recommend this oil.

This is what I was told to get for my cutting board from people with experience.
