Works like it should

I really liked this product. It was my first time using it and it really makes the colors of the wood pop! You get a descent sized bottle for the price. Would definitely buy again!

I had bought a cutting board around Christmas, but to my surprise it came unfinished, or unsealed. So like a lot of people today I went online to find a food grade oil, I had many different finishes at home but nothing food grade. After reading and watching some suggested items I saw this one Walrus Oil. The guy in the video had done some beautiful pieces and, he said, a little goes a long way, boy does it. I probably wasted a quarter of a bottle applying too much. So use sparingly and this bottle and cream should last me forever.

Bought this for some custom cutting board I did for gift and the oil was amazing there is no smell to it and food grade. Made the wood grain on my cutting boards really pop! Will buy this again in the future!

This is a really nice product for oiling wood. However, the dispensing hole in the top of the container is very large, so its difficult to use the product sparingly -- it just gushes out. And the bottle is lightweight, so if youre not careful to cap it while in use and accidentally knock it over, youll have a high volume of spilled oil due to the large hole. For this, I downgraded it to 4 stars. I usually apply oil directly to the wood then rub it in with my hands. With this I think it would be better to put some in a small bowl and apply either with a cloth or fingertips from there to avoid wasting so much of the product.

I use this oil on all of my cutting boards and my hand carved bowls. Leaves a great finish on all of my wood products, especially my spoons. Thank You

It goes a long way. I only used a little bit and I did a 14 inch cutting board.

It applied easily. Spread evenly easily. Popped the grain out nice. Food safe. Hey, that’s alright with me , man.

Had an old maple cutting board that was made more than 45 years ago and had never seen any oil since leaving the the junior high school woodshop class. It was complete dry and held no color at all. A couple applications of Walrus Oil (allowing it soak in good) and the cutting board is beautiful - Just like new again! Thanks Walrus Oil for a great product! *It is also good for wooden kitchen utensils (spoon, spatula, etc.) and quickly brings them back to life as well.
