> 3 dayI am super happy with this stuff. It will not disappoint! I have used it on a few cutting boards, and on the spoon and chopsticks pictured. I have noticed that it helps keep the tips of the chopsticks from getting stains after eating with them, which is a bonus! My wife has commented to me that she likes the feel of our wooden knife handles that I have treated with Walrus Oil too. This feels like it leaves the surface more smooth and protected than other butcher block oils Ive used. Other oils seem to just raise the wood grain which leaves the surface feeling worse than before. But my observation is that this oil actually leaves a nicer surface. Cant say enough good things about it!!

> 3 dayI have custom handmade cutting boards and bread boards so oiling is not new to me. But I was looking for a faster drying oil than the one I was using and this oil not only dried in great time, but left my boards looking healthy, in new condition. Highly recommend.

> 3 dayI’m amazed at how well this product works. After watching the posted videos, I was a little skeptical, but decided to try it anyway. I must admit, it works exactly as shown and it’s really easy to use. A little goes a long way too. It costs a little more, but it’s worth every penny! Extremely pleased with this product.

Greater than one weekI recently obtained my first wooden cutting board and wanted to use a high quality oil to give it the best treatment possible. I read the reviews for this and gave it a shot. Given my limited experience I did not really know what to expect, but I am impressed. Its a nice thick oil that still spreads easily and absorbs nicely. My cutting board is acacia wood and took two good applications before it stopped soaking in. As for durability its pretty good. I can get several good uses out of the board in rinse-only fashion with veggies before I feel the need to re-apply. When I cut meat on it, I do rinse with a drop of dish soap and if the board looks a little dry Ill add some more oil. If I had one complaint its that its messy to dispense with this lid. I pretty much always get dribbles down the side when Im using it. Still worth the mess though.
