> 3 dayThis board was severely neglected. Its owner forgot it and left it outdoors for a year. No amount of oil will fix the warping and expansion this little guy endured, but after a thorough washing and oiling, it can have a new life in my kitchen for cleaving. This oil has a neutral smell and is pretty viscous. This poor little board drank a little less than 1/4th cup, but seems happy now.

Greater than one weekIve used this for live edge charcuterie boards I cut, finish & sell. After lots of sanding I wipe a few coats of this on. I allow it to soak in between coats & add until it doesnt soak in anymore. Its time consuming if you factor dry time. The bottle doesnt last long for raw boards. I also use when my personal charcuterie board gets dry after or between uses. I use this in combo with the walrus wax. It doesnt leave a shiny or greasy residue once it soaks. Otherwise I use a combo of food grade/safe mineral oil & local beeswax melted & wiped on which is cheaper when we work on a larger quantity of boards.

> 3 dayThis is a great product ~ worth the money. Very little goes a long way. I bought a very nice big OLD cutting board at a church sale. After using this oil, it looks brand new. I bet they wouldn’t sell it for 2 bucks now!

> 3 dayProducts work very well for its intended use, however I am not certain it works that much better than regular mineral oil...

> 3 dayI had bought a cutting board around Christmas, but to my surprise it came unfinished, or unsealed. So like a lot of people today I went online to find a food grade oil, I had many different finishes at home but nothing food grade. After reading and watching some suggested items I saw this one Walrus Oil. The guy in the video had done some beautiful pieces and, he said, a little goes a long way, boy does it. I probably wasted a quarter of a bottle applying too much. So use sparingly and this bottle and cream should last me forever.

> 3 dayLove this stuff. I use Walrus Oil brand for everything that I make for kitchen use. I use it on cutting boards, cheese slicer boards and rocking pizza cutters. So much better than plain old mineral oil. I have a bottle of name brand that has been sitting on the shelf for years. I guess that I am keeping it for backup but seem to always have Walrus Oil on hand and never use it. i also use Walrus Oil cutting board wax. I also use Walrus Oil furniture oil I most everything else that I make from wine displays, bottle stoppers, custom hunting knife handles to a trestle table that I made.

Greater than one weekI have teak handles on my kitchen knives and since I wash them a lot it doesnt last too long. Gives a beautiful finish though.
