Love this monitor. One of the very few that has a height adjustment (which I dont understand why they all dont have this feature). My wife has the same size display (from another manufacturer) and has to put book under it so its the right height. Performs well for everyday tasks (office apps/ internet/ streaming video). I have the 22 version of this monitor at work and liked it so much that I got this bigger one for home.

Missing back cable cover and did not tell me. Other than that, good buy!

I have several of these Dell ultra sharp IPS monitors and I love them. I especially love the fact that it has an eight way mount and is height adjustable. Monitor has great viewing angles and excellent color reproduction. The monitor is not quite calibrated for professional photos, however Im not doing professional print work so the exact color profiles are irrelevant to me. Probably one of the better values in monitors.

Its a really nice monitor. I like it because it has the DVI connections that are used by my video card (some years old now). Some of the other Dell monitors didnt have this connector. UPDATE: This monitor has now failed completely. The monitor was flickering and buzzing while *no video input was attached*. It is less than a year old. I cant even see the onscreen menus (accessed via buttons on front of monitor) Warranty replacement is through DELL. If you need to return this for warranty replacement, be prepared to spend hours on the phone. I was asked all sorts of stupid questions from a customer service rep @ DELL. I explained this 3 times to the dell rep who continually then asked me to try switching video inputs from my computer. She was just reading scripts like a talking parrot. Asking me this stupid troubleshooting script again and again. And she was very difficult to understand (English). UPDATE: DELL finally came through and sent a replacement. Im not happy with the monitor failing, but Im even more unsatisfied with the stupid DELL rep who wont listen; wantonly wasting my time. I had to explain to her several times that the blurred lines and flickering were happening *without any video input*. After sending a proof of purchase, now the replacement will take 7-10 business days, so Im told. will see what happens.

The monitor resolution was good and the brightness/contrast was adjustable using the monitor controls.

I am not one of those people who knows all there is to know about ICC profiles and gamma correction, etc. I just know when a monitor is bugging my eyes like crazy, and looks off in about every way. I got this monitor delivered to work and played with the settings all day yesterday. I also looked at what settings others had said were apparently good, and tried those. I started to doubt my eyes. But after I got home and looked at the other 27 monitor I have there (different brand -- you can find my review on that one if youre interested), it was immediately apparently that it was not in my head. This one is maybe half as good, and it was actually $20 more expensive than the other one. The bottom line is this: there are MUCH better monitors out there for the same price (cheaper, in fact). And, if youve ever seen a Dell monitor that looked off and just couldnt be dialed in, this one is exactly like that -- just bigger. I wish it wasnt true, but it is, at least for the one I got. I have returned it (that part went flawlessly -- thank you Amazon), and am going with a slightly different model from the same brand I have at home (different only because I need VESA mounts for work, and that one only has a stand).

I ordered a refurbished monitor to match the one I already have.. The model was the same but the base was different unfortunately.. However, the monitor works brilliantly and I couldnt be happier with the quality.. The company was promt with delivery and it was very fairly priced.. Thank you.

I bought these after good experiences with the monitors I use at work (a newer version of them). They work great for the home use as well. The display quality is great with great color and brightness. I shopped around and look at a dozen monitors in this price range and can honestly say the build quality is among the best on these for the price. I highly recommend them!

Not the cheapest 24 you can buy. I did some research and came across a few nice reviews which were quite thorough. One in particular from the UK. Quite a thorough review. Well reviewed. What I like about this unit is the matte finish on the screen so reduced glare and the aluminum base styling. Needs to have a HDMI input but this is easily gotten around. Not sure why they provided every input but a HDMI. Now I hope it lasts a long time for the money I paid for it.

In the past Ive owned a lot of Dell computers and monitors, but since I got burnt on the last 3 Dell computers Ive quit buying Dell computers, but my Dell monitors are still serving me well, so I went for another one. I had 2 old Dell monitors that I quit using on my computers awhile back and started using them as part of my security system, but the oldest one ( 6 years old, 20 IPS panel 16:10) went out on me, so I went to find a replacement. I wanted the same as I had before, but I couldnt find anything in a 16:10 unless I paid 2-3 times the price of a 16:9 or went up to a 24, which I didnt want to do. Well I bought this monitor and its appears to be a good one, because it doesnt have any stuck pixels, it runs cooler than the old one (LED backlight), it was cheaper than the old one (this one cost $170, the old one cost $450 6 yrs ago) and its 22 instead of a 20. The step backward is the 16:9, because this 22 is the same height as my 20, just 1 1/2 longer and this stretches everything out and now all the images on my security cameras look squashed and the people all look fat. Bottom line is: I think this is a great value in a monitor and I can live with the 16:9.
