> 3 dayIf youre looking for a widescreen that can swivel to portrait or landscape, stop looking. This is it. Pros: Stunning IPS panel. My non-IPS laptop looks revolting in comparison now. This monitor has deep blacks and vivid colors. That might not sound important for your workday, but you will really appreciate the difference. The stand is amazing... it can slide up and down to meet your eye level, and it can tilt 180 degrees to become the perfect PDF reader. Cons: No standard HDMI port. Find out what kind of port your computer has and add the appropriate adapter cable to your Amazon order. I spent $6 on a DisplayPort-to-HDMI cable, and everything is gravy now. Spend the extra money and get this monitor. Seriously. Dont settle for a crappy stand.

> 3 dayI have only had these a few months. They are sturdy, good color and can be angled and adjusted on a desk with great ease. Turning your screen to show someone something is easy with this monitor. You can also rotate them 90º and use them for tall spreadsheets or for coding. Great functionality. However, I should have paid attention to the resolution. Not happy with such a low resolution for such a big monitor. I will make the best of it, but wish I had looked better and then picked a different monitor for my main display with a higher resolution and used this as a secondary with the rotating option.

> 3 dayVery impressed with this monitor. Picture quality is very good. Sharp text, good color, very bright and clear. The IPS display is wonderful. For a 1080p monitor, it doesnt get much better than this. The build quality is great and the adjustable stand is fantastic. Easy to raise, lower, rotate or turn into vertical mode. I will be buying another. Dell monitors are typically very good and this is no exception.

> 3 daySome of these reviews are pathetic.... For $300 in a IPS monitor - 27 Inch - what do they want?? The adjustments are great, the stand is great, the color (fine tune it) and its great. Now you might get one which isnt perfect, and if its not, then SEND IT BACK and GET ANOTHER ONE. EVERYTHING I buy anymore, I wont keep it if it doesnt do the job. So take some initiative and this is a GREAT MONITOR for the price!

> 3 dayLOVE IT! I have vision problems and my big concern was that the native resolution on a larger monitor would be too high for me to see, but this is perfect. The screen is super bright, the colors are great. I still have one of my little 19 square monitors next to it and it looks so dim now.

> 3 dayNot the cheapest 24 you can buy. I did some research and came across a few nice reviews which were quite thorough. One in particular from the UK. Quite a thorough review. Well reviewed. What I like about this unit is the matte finish on the screen so reduced glare and the aluminum base styling. Needs to have a HDMI input but this is easily gotten around. Not sure why they provided every input but a HDMI. Now I hope it lasts a long time for the money I paid for it.

> 3 dayI bought one of these monitors from Microcenter back in December and it worked pretty well for me. It was recently determined that I will be working from home indefinitely, so I decided I wanted another one of these monitors to make my setup ideal. Microcenter stopped selling this model and I really wanted to have the same one because I’m obsessive about symmetry. Thankfully this seller on Amazon still has them in stock. The monitor arrived quickly and in the official Dell box. Got it attached to the desk mount and working within minutes. Art of my job involves a lot of data entry on a huge list, so the portrait mode has worked out really well for me. I have the monitors plugged in with DVI to HDMI cables. One goes to the back of my laptop and the other goes to a USB 3.0 docking station. The setup is working perfectly so far.

> 3 dayNeeded it for Amiga 500 display, still waiting on an adapter from another vendor. It has great color and I really like the stand as it can do landscape and portrait. The monitor arrived on time and was packaged extremely well. Kudos to the vendor for the packing.

> 3 dayAs a programmer, Ive been using a combination of a 30 monitor and a 20 monitor for years. This combination works great because the 1600 pixel height of the 30 monitor matches up perfectly with the 1600 pixel width of the 20 monitors. Recently, I decided to setup a similar setup at my shop - and purchased a

> 3 dayI bought the P2414H to use it as an office monitor. The monitor has an elegant design, its easy on the eyes (after I calibrated it to my taste), text is clear and easy to read, power consumption is low, the menu is well thought out, etc.. Overall, this is an excellent monitor for the money. My only gripe is with color rendition of IPS technology in general. This is my second IPS monitor for past three years (after the HP ZR24W, which was considered a good monitor back in 2011). Despite spending hours calibrating colors and brightness, both IPS monitors have worse color reproduction than the 24 Dell UltraSharp monitor that Ive had at home since ... 2007 (and that monitor is/was supposedly in the same class as these newer monitors). Still, considering the available choices, the P2414H is excellent.
