This little product is amazing; I wont go on about it because most everyone looking at it already knows what it does. What I will add is that I know several other people that have one as well and we all experience odd quirks every now and then. One of my friends also tends to have an issue with image burn, though Im sure Elgato would help out if he were to contact them. A recent thing they added was a CPU monitor but it isnt at all accurate from what I can tell. Im not sure where its getting its readings from but I removed it because I cant rely on it. I use this in Photoshop, emails, work, stream moderating, my own livestreams, Discord, Pandora/Spotify, and more. My desk is full of Corsair products and Im glad to have this one in my lineup. EDIT: I had to come back after over a year or so on use with Windows because Ive switched to ArchLinux and dont enjoy having this pricy paperweight on my desk (nor does my husband). We would love for Corsair to be Linux-friendly. Star docked for this reason, as well as several buggy quirks that seemed to take a while to work out over my last few weeks on Windows.

Other than the mk2 version is much better. Angled usbc and better stand. If you know about stream decks and you are considering the 15 key, make sure to get the mk2 version for the features mentioned above. If you don’t know about stream decks, then let me tell you, these are not just for streaming. I run my entire computers shortcuts, apps, home lighting, stream software, cameras and I set up and use profiles for all of my editing software. Ps, ai, ae, pr ect. You will only be sorry if you dont get one. The software is super simple and extremely powerful. The elgato build quality is top notch. Highly recommend this and all elgatos products.

Since everyone will hear praises about this unit, Ill get straight to the bad stuff about Version 1: - CAUTION: Dont press too hard on any of the buttons, youll create ripples on the LCD screen! - The Stream Deck is basically a small display with transparent a 5 x 3 transparent button overlay. In other words, one screen is responsible for setting the image on each button (Each button is NOT an individual screen). - The brightness of the display does not go very high but it can be tuned to get very dim. Bright windows may bleach out the screen. Under normal lighting in offices, its totally fine. - The PPI (pixels per inch) is not very high, it looks equivalent to pixels on a 1080P 27 inch monitor. - As another reviewer mentioned, the USB cord is short and its probably shorter than the one on your mouse. This is not a big deal as you can find USB extension cables easily (but most of us dont expect to pay additionally for that). - However, since the concept of this device is simple, I expect to see several copycat devices come out which would improve on the quirks Ive mentioned and sell at a lower cost. Im also curious as to whether a spare Android tablet would be able to do the same thing. Praises: - This device does help productivity. When Im answering calls, I can easily switch to applications Ive programmed it on. I have the G710+ keyboard with programmed macros but it doesnt get much use. - The software/hardware integration is extremely well done and there isnt anything out there on the market like it at the moment (5/19/2017). As you change the configuration on the Windows application, it changes immediately on the Stream Deck without having to hit save/upload. Edit 1: I think I was a bit harsh with 2 stars. Ive upped my review to 3 stars to balance out the utility of the device and the good work that went into the software integration. The reason why it lost 2 stars is because of the bothersome ripple effect on the LCD screen. I seriously question the durability of the item in that regard.

Elgato has done it again, the Stream Deck is the perfect solution to take your production up a level. If you already have the graphic overlays and a solid mic, the stream deck is the next thing you need for broadcasting. It allows you to quickly setup adjustments to your scenes. It is extremely customizable and can do multiple things. You can have it change shots, mute audio and record video. The software is very easy to setup and allows you to customize the icons and actions of your stream deck. This is one of those things that makes a higher quality production, much easier. The build is very solid and the buttons have a great feel to them. Not clicky, but just soft although distinct when pressing. Notes: Make sure your PC is close as the cord isnt super long. I plug it into a USB adapter which has been working well since my CPU is across the room.

From Elagato via Corsair, the Stream Deck automates tasks and is extremely versatile. It has a fairly simple interface that is rapidly learned, and a wide variety of pre-built profiles for your favorite PC operation or gaming task. I use it to control Spotify, and have assigned a number of my favorite playlists to launch with the press of a single button. I can increase/decrease volume, pause, skip, tag as favorite, and more. Some of my most common PC apps are shown on the first photo, including Photoshop, Chrome, Ryzen Master, Acronis True Image and many others. The XL is the model with the most programmable buttons. For flight simulation, this device is extremely handy. I can execute a number of repetitive flight tasks again with simple button presses, instead of grappling with mouse-clicks, or purchasing pricey add-on sim hardware. Other users that stream on the web use this device to control their online streaming sessions, and rave about it. Im very satisfied with this device, and use it daily, it makes many of my PC tasks much simpler and faster. YouTube has many many videos to help you learn your way around this handy gizmo!

Im not a streamer, youtuber, or anything like that, but this controller is exactly what i was looking for. When it comes to launching games, web pages, controlling volume, even my goovee lights, this thing is a dream. A bit tricky to figure out the programming at first but got it in no time. Highly suggest to anyone and everyone who has a pc (the multi taskers)

I use the heck out of this thing. The customizations are excellent and they keep updating and adding more plugins. I originally got it as I wanted a hard button that would show state to mute my microphone without being obnoxious and it works great. There is a small learning curve but the online documentation is good and easy to use. I use this for both work and home. In my setup I have a work machine sitting next to my home machine and I remote into the work machine from my home machine, both windows machines. In order to use this on both I have a switchable usb hub that connects this device to both. I then have the streamdeck software loaded on both machines with different configs for both. When I switch between the machines I simply push the button on the hub and I get the config for that machine. I have found that having a direct connection to a machine works best as opposed to having the connection on one and attempting to use it through remote desktop.

... and you couldnt pry them from my cold, dead streamer hands. Seriously, I love the Elgato Stream Deck. When I bought my first Stream Deck (the 15-key version), I thought it was a splurge, but as soon as I plugged it in and started using it, I fell in love with it. It has made running my stream (normal video games, basic psychedelic effects, and tournaments) and other stuff SO MUCH EASIER. Heres a list of the things Ive done with this (more than just one time experimental stuff): - I play sound commands from it when certain people stop in chat. - I use it to quickly set up for recording YouTube videos through OBS. - I use it to change the way my username is displayed on Twitter when Im live on Twitch. - I used it for weeks on end to make APPLYING FOR JOBS that much easier through its text paste functionality. Seriously, how many time do you have to write/type the same information over and over. - I have run video game tournaments with it and used it to focus on specific players during the tournament was super easy. - Ive change the entire look/feel of the tournaments Ive run in a SINGLE button press. - I use it to highlight my dog on stream. - I use it to spin a redemption wheel on stream. - I run applications and scripts Ive written to make managing save files on a USB drive much easier when Im practicing video games my PS4. I cant say enough good things about this product. If you are on the fence about whether to get this or not, it can be used for much more than just streaming on Twitch/Mixer/YouTube/etc., so dont be afraid to experiment with it. Thanks for taking the time to read this review and have a great day!
