> 24 hourI do a LOT of audio work on my main Windows PC so this Stream Deck serves me well for the simple task of muting and focusing on one of my many audio feeds when I hear something I want to focus on. I found PowerMixer which is a very capable audio mixer for Windows that allows fine control of just about any audio route. I configured Stream Deck with unused rare key sequences, then configured Power Mixer to recognize each of those key sequences to carry out the desired action, whether its muting all except one input or maximizing the master volume control or, most commonly, resetting everything back to normal after all those other changes. I especially like the ability to change what is displayed on the buttons so this thing is infinitely customizable.

> 24 hourWhen I first set it up, it was perfect. Setting up the buttons was easy, connecting it was extremely simple, etc. The very next day, it’s EXTREMELY laggy. Every button I press has a huge delay time to activate, the LCD screen freezes up, and sometimes won’t even react to when I press a button. No matter what I do, reset the entire application, have it running in the background, unplug and plug back the device in, reset computer, nothing. Mind you I also have a high end gaming PC because I’m a small streamer/YouTuber so there’s no reason why my computer shouldn’t be able to handle this. Loved it at first but now it just sits there since I can’t use it when properly. Disappointed with this because I’m a huge elgato fan so I was sure this was gonna be as good as the capture card I have. It was not.

> 24 hourI have the original 15 key and the stand for it was/is horrible. With the folder system now its super easy to make use of the 6 keys (6 folders all with 5 buttons). My main use for this is Spotify, DIM, and Discord with it all working perfectly. For audio this is pretty bad I would recommend a Beacn Mix if you are looking for a simple audio control device.

> 24 hourI stream on Twitch and this stream deck has made my life insurmountable easier. I’m able to do so many things like adjust audios, change scenes, and send chat commands with complete ease. It makes my stream feel significantly more professional! I highly recommend grabbing one for anyone who streams!

> 24 hourFirst one gave me white horizontal lines, which happened to be a common issue on forums. Elgato support was horrendous, close to non-existent. Returned it and the one I have now works fine. I use it for editing and color grading. Works like a charm.

> 24 hourNot compatible with motherboards that do not have USB 2.0. Works but this has been crashing and freezing my computer up randomly. The only thing you can do is switch your USB 3.2 ports to legacy 2.0 and that kind of sucks because it switches all the ports to 2.0 causing problem would like my money back. This did not start happening until I upgraded from my old Alienware pc to the new game rig and it does not have a USB 2.0 port on it.

> 24 hourSo far Ive only been using it with SoundPad and Discord(easy to find/use plugins required), but itll expand as I need it to. Construction quality is on the device is rock solid, but as a lot of other have pointed out, the stand feels a bit flimsy, but that really isnt a big deal IMO. Its hasnt buckled under my button presses. In fact, when youre just using it as intended, and not testing for durability, it feels just as solid as the device itself.

> 24 hourBut why only regular usb? Have y’all seen the Mac book pros for the last few years? No usb. And I have a hub/dock device specifically for running two monitors and the connectivity… but you can’t use the dock to connect it. A real bummer, in 2022 that a device like this skimps out on being more versatile out of the box.

> 24 hourI was looking for a solution to control my music (through winamp, still the best music playing software!) where i didnt have to switch back and forth between games and winamp, and i didnt want a giant keyboard with all the extra media keys so this thing does what i need perfectly. and can do so much more. now i have access to all of my basics, play/pause, next track, volume, etc all right there at all times. just a simple press away. and when i dont need those extra keys i just slide the thing out of the way. its very easy to setup too, very visual way of doing everything that makes it intuitive and fast. the software is also frequently updated, showing they are constantly working on things. its technically for streamers, but this thing can be so useful for so much more! a great little device that does a ton things and does it well. i highly recommend this to anybody who needs some extra customization but doesnt want a giant, usually tacky looking keyboard.
