> 3 daySteve went out of his way to help us out. We absolutely love the Epson 3800 Projector. Works great with my Bluetooth sound system. Just have it against my textured wall and the picture is good. I can’t wait for my screen to show up. Thanks for your help Steve at Hatchfield Co. Will buy from their company again in the future!

> 3 dayThere’s nothing quite like seeing a classic epic film on the big screen, but this projector makes it possible to come as close as you can at home. It’s not too heavy or too big, so you can either permanently set it up or bring it out as needed for movie night or the big game. The picture is great and compatible with 4K for the highest quality video you can have.

> 3 dayCame with Epson Certified Refurbished sticker on the top. Sadly, focus uniformity was poor and it wasnt any brighter than my 2200-lumens HT1075 with 3K hours on the bulb. I will say it was very quiet.

> 3 dayJust got this projector replacing my Panasonic 720p projector which worked nicely for 15 years but now with 4K content available I thought I would get this to start with watching the Super Bowl. First impression is it’s amazing upgrading from the 720p. Colors are rich and crisp. Lots of keystone adjustments available to fix the alignment since my previous projector was not aligned center of the room and I used the same ceiling frame to hang this projector. Couldn’t step away watching a movie or HD/4K content. I am still using a very old HDMI cable and yet getting very good picture - not sure if I have to upgrade it. Overall, after two days of using it, just impressed how good the experience is. Will know more after tomorrow’s super bowl game. Definitely recommend over buying a large OLED TV.

> 3 dayThis is a TERRIFIC projector. Im a trial lawyer, and I bought it to display documents to the jury on a screen at trial. The old projector made it hard to tell whether someone had initialed a document or not. This one, by contrast, made the evidence clear and convincing, as we say in my line of work. Youll love it. You will also need to figure out some way to carry it around, because it is a big mother, but worth the heft.

> 3 dayMy 2 yr old LG smart LED projector died from what I suspect was a lighting surge - so after being unable to find a repair shop that could even look at it, I decided to buy this Epson projector. I’ve had excellent experience with other Epson printers in past and they seem to be one of the leaders in the market. We are extremely pleased with it so far. Pros: - image quality and brightness - warranty period - solid build quality (made in Philippines) - kind of subjective but still important to me. - easy setup and adjustability. - low noise on eco mode. On brighter mode it’s more noticeable on quiet movies but still not distracting. Cons: - a bit pricey... - bulkier than our old projector - had to replace the bracket for a stronger one. - having trouble to power off projector from fire stick 4K remote - power on is no problem. May be a fire stick issue. - the manual is on line so keep a device handy during install because navigating menus and setup required manual. - life expectancy of bulb About our setup: - ceiling mount (upside down - very simple menu pick to flip image) using the Epson bracket sold separately for 100 or so dollars. Very solid bracket by the way installed easily. - I installed a surge protector outlet in the ceiling (Leviton) to prevent same fate as first projector. This avoids the ugly look of a surge protector - install took about 1.5 hour or so. Included putting up new bracket and surge outlet - and adjusting picture. - 110 inch screen. Mounted projector about 12-13 ft from screen. - using with fire stick 4K but Slight issue with power off from the fire stick remote. - set to eco mode Overall very pleased with purchase and experience. Recommended.

> 3 dayThe projector says “No Signal” from HDMI even though there is an incoming signal and the cable has been tested and works as expected. I’ve tested the other components in the AVR system and the projector is component that’s failing. I hope Epson or Amazon will send a replacement.

> 3 dayLets get this out of the way- You get a very nice picture out of this. 1080p is easy for it of course and Ive really enjoyed watching The Mandalorian in 4k. This is hooked up to a PC and Ive found that a 92 desktop is entirely usable with 4k. Physically the projector is a bit beefy. I wouldnt call it light however I didnt have much trouble ceiling mounting it by myself. It is plenty bright and even with lights on I tend to keep it on the lower settings without issue. As I said, beefy, so keep that in mind when purchasing a mount. I have the cheap one I was using for a smaller projector and not only is it probably a little to light duty for this, the mounting footprint isnt big enough and I can only get three of the arms to reach the projector holes. I advise not skimping and get something rock solid which will make your setup for aiming and focus a lot easier. Speaking of aiming I love the manual lens shift which is a first for me. It allows so much freedom of where you mount it. There is a lot of range in the zoom to so I didnt have to move my existing mount. My only real complaint is the lack of connectivity. My Epson LS100 has an network port so I can tie it in with my home automation while this doesnt even have a serial port. I bought the wireless adapter thinking that would give me what I need but it was only after contacting support that I was told it is only for media streaming and did not provide control. This is a must have feature for me so it leaves me a little disappointed. Other than that I did have some flakiness in a long HDMI cable but a repeater fixed that. Epson makes good hardware and Id recommend this to anyone with the caveat that you do your research. Know about the connectivity, get a good mount, then enjoy the picture.
