Greater than one weekIve had 4 or 5 projectors over the years and this one is by a wide margin the king. Even other epsons this is brighter and clearer and just projects better. The bluetooth sound works flawlessly and it even includes an onboard speaker, though its not enough for large or loud locations. The lens has all manner of adjustments for being able to get the correct flat picture on screen even when its throwing said picture from a weird or close angle. I hope that the bulb lasts longer than my last one which got about half the rated life span.

> 3 dayPicture was decent. It was pretty bright but I spent a week’s worth of time trying to get audio connected. I tried Bluetooth to my Visio sound bar/surround sound system and when that didn’t work I tried HDMI, I tried 3.5mm audio cables, I tried optical I tried adapters to all three of those audio options and still.....NO AUDIO! Through the process of elimination I determined that it was the projector itself that had to be the issue. I bought the same exact model directly from Best Buy and connected the audio through the Bluetooth in 2 seconds. The cheaper price from this 3rd party seller I believe is the problem... Best Buy explained that’s why they don’t price match with certain companies or sellers because it may look like the same model but it may not include one or two features and that how they sell it for less...makes sense after all the hassle I went through!

> 3 dayI recently upgraded my Optima and this was a great choice. A little bigger (heavier) than the previous projector. But the image quality and especially sound (very quiet) was well worth the price. I love the colors and blacks. I use it in my sunroom (with darkening shades), but it is even presentable in the daylight. But at night or a darken room is where it really shines. Good investment for movie night and general tv watch with an Apple tv.

> 3 dayI mostly watch movies, youtube. I had a optoma hd28darbee that was great for games and pretty good for movies and then it failed. I tried one of the optoma laser projectors hz39hdr and the color was horrible way washed out. I looked out of the box and noticed just how good the picture was on the Epson 3800…. WOW incredible color, and detail. In fact it has the best image I have ever seen period!! Only drawbacks when switching inputs it can be slow and buggy so make sure if using a receiver with 4k hdmi switching, you have all the firmware updates done. Also games did look a bit better (sharper) with optoma however with some adjustments and just how good it looks with uhd4k movies I will except that. I mean it looks so good I stayed up to 2am just watching uhd4k content on youtube etc, amazing !!! Buy it you will love it!!!

> 3 dayI tried many others but finally settled on this, little pricey but thats worth spending. Picture quality is much better than DLP ones like ViewSoinc or Optoma.

Greater than one weekI bought a brand new item, but the one delivered is refurbished. Its in the original box, but out of the original internal wrapping. Instruction manual missing, batteries missing, projector itself has signs of wear, plus hair and dust everywere. Also image is all blurry. So item is defective.

> 3 dayIm new to projectors. Only have a cheap $200 one to compare it to. Picture is sharp, very bright, works well in room even when the window shades are open. No complaints. Good value for the money.

> 3 dayWriting this because sadly I didnt see it in the reviews. This projector looks like a projector from little big world in Mario. Its huge. And heavy. This is what I get for reading too many reviews focused on image quality. I didnt even take it out of the packaging just straight back to amazon lol.

> 3 dayI’ve had the projector for almost a year now and all I can said is that’s it’s everything that i paid for… the Picture is great!! And along with all the great features it has duel inputs which is a lifesaver… Knock on wood the only thing Ive has to do was clean the air filter… it’s definitely upgrade from the old generic 1080p!! Highly recommended for any set-up!! What made it so much easier was being able to pay monthly for it!
