> 24 hour...just like its designed to. My ex bought one of those $1000 door to door sold monstrosities (long story, dont ask) and it was a complete and utter disappointing nightmare. When he left, it went with him. Needing a replacement, I found this and Ive been quite pleased. Its lightweight and easy to maneuvre around the room. The canister is quick and easy to empty and clean, as are the filters. My only annoyance is it isnt as easy to use on the stairs as Id like... or I havent figured that part out yet. All in all, happy with the purchase. And I dont dread vacuuming anymore.

> 24 hourI bought this because my $700 roomba gets stuck on my long shag rug and I needed a vacuum just for that. Can I just say WOW!? This thing works so well on that rug! I also use it on my sofa, and I use it after my roomba sometimes and it picks up more. You cant get a better vacuum at this price point!

> 24 hourI have stained concrete floor & an 120 Alaskan Malamute. I vacuum minimum of one time a day. This may work well on carpeting, but an absolute no for my floors. My first run & dog hair ended up on top of my coffee maker. I could only use the hose or Id end up with a mess. I ordered this to replace my shark..which was still working great after 4 years, but unfortunately was used in my home after tons of damage ftom hurricane ian and there was so much mold I needed to get a new one. This was my very first purchase after losing just about everything & moving back into my house....that was a disappointment. My new shark arrived today! Yay! My house feels clean again!

> 24 hourI am a mother of three children, 2 dogs and a husband. :) I am self-diagnosed OCD. I vacuum 2x a day. I have purchased every vacuum cleaner out there and have paid a hefty price for majority of them. I have the Bissell lift off pet hair eraser and was paying $50 every 2-3 months to replace the filters, there were 3 total. The small dirt storage container filled quickly and needed emptied far too often. So to Amazon I went in search of an inexpensive yet efficient vacuum. I read all the reviews about the Eureka and thought I would give it a try since it is so inexpensive. I couldnt wait to unleash this bad boy on my hardwood floors, carpet and rugs. This vacuum is AMAZING. It was so satisfying to see how much the Eureka picked up but yet upsetting that my high end vacuum was leaving my house quite filthy. I LOVE that I can wash the filter and not need to replace it every few months. I truly love this thing and will only buy and recommend it. You truly cannot go wrong! The ONLY two cons I must say is that since it is incredibly lightweight, the hose is too short which causes it to tip over upon using the attachments. Also, the suction is so strong that when I use the attachments, it has a tendency to suck up the frays from my rug and causes a burning smell and sound so I have learned to steer clear of anything that could be sucked up while using the attachments.

> 24 hourSuction is over the top, almost scary. This vacuum cleaner pulls my low pile LARGE rugs, not small scatter rugs, up from the floor even on high carpet head setting. The detachable hose needs to be longer as you cannot remove and stretch it out to vacuum something without it toppling over. It pulled over multiple times the first time I used it, marring and gouging my walls. Also the hose is not long enough to reach high places (think crown moulding). You have to lift the whole vacuum up, and its not a super lightweight vacuum. Its too cumbersome for stairs and doesnt have a strong edge cleaner, Also, the exhaust on the top is so strong that when you are pass by something lightweight on a higher surface it will blow it off, or terrorize your large leaf plants (think storm winds)! The attachments dont stay in place very well in their carrying place. On the plus side, the dirt container is fairly easy to remove and empty, and the filter is washable. Ive had it over a month and only used it once because I just kinda dont like it. I had ALL of these issues with usign it the one time in my 2000 sq ft home, all hardwood with oriental rugs and large room rugs. Its good on bare floors, but a bit like trying to manage a large, unruly dog on a leash. You cannot turn off the rotating brush in the head and have just suction like the one Eureka made years ago called the OPTIMA. It was superior in design, smaller, lighter and strong, and THAT is the vacuum cleaner I want, but they dont make it anymore. I wore mine smack out.....wore the wheels off of it! I really should have sent this one back. Vacuums are one of those things that you dont know what youre getting until youve got it.

> 24 hourIve had it a few years and something is wrong with the suction and both wheels have broken. You might want to keep that in mind when purchasing.

> 24 hourI literally can’t handle the loudness of this vacuum. I will say we live in a home with all hardwood and laminate flooring. There’s no carpeting to muffle or quiet the sound of the vacuum. I rarely ever leave less than a 5 star review on something, because I myself obsessively check reviews so usually when I order things I know all the ins and outs of the product before it’s arrival. Although I got this for a steal of a price ($74) it is so loud it scares my (always loud and fearless) toddlers, and the base / head of this thing HUGE in comparison to other vacuums I’ve had most recently. I religiously use a cordless moosoo vacuum and compared to that, this thing is literally 3x as loud, and looks like a giant fossil beside the cordless. I purchased this because I wanted an option to be able to plug in and not wait to charge but I definitely will not be grabbing for this unless I desperately need something. Pros: the dust cup is huge. Very easy to assemble. Great suction. Light and easy to carry Pro & con: lightweight Cons: louder than a day At the racetrack without ear plugs. Very old school / not sleek at all design. So lightweight that it Falls over when trying to use the hose to vacuum things (and usually wails you in the head or body somewhere) If given the option, I would not repurchase. I honestly would have returned due to the loudness alone if it wasn’t for it being such a hassle due to being a big item.

> 24 hourI appreciate reading the reviews for this vacuum cleaner as it helped me make my decision. Vacuum cleaners are tricky things in this world and we want to buy the one which will pick up quickly, with good suction and make our lives easier. This one does. It weighs 10 pounds and of course is all plastic and it maneuvers fine for me, I dont need any extra special maneuvering applications. It also fits through my chair legs so I dont have to move a great deal to get the dust out from underneath. I have St Bernard, Husky and Collie hairs to pick up and this does a very good job of sucking it all up into an extra large container. This gets filled up quickly with room to spare. The vacuum also fits next to the washing machine so I can put it exactly where I want it. So far, one of the best suction devices I have used for dog hair and dust at a very good price. It ticks all the boxes for me. Highly recommended.

> 24 hourI do like this vacuum but the only thing is its a bit clunky. Kinda hard to move around if you have any hand or back pain, if that is your case, look for something else.

> 24 hourGood suction. It is bigger than the one I have used the past 5 years which makes it more difficult to get into smaller spaces. The hose falls off the thing easily when I vacuum causing it to blow out instead of suctioning in. I may give this one to the friend to whom I gave my old one (which still works fine) and take it back.
