> 3 dayLet me start by saying I’m comparing this to the Dyson vacuum I had for nearly 20 years. I found the NEU182A to be a very powerful vacuum in regard to suction, and it is very lightweight! For a standard vacuum I would definitely recommend! There are a few things I did not like though. My Dyson has a quick release to switch to use the tube, so when I discovered you had to unattach on one part then reattach to another to use the attachments it was a big negative for me. I have two dogs and live in the desert - so being able to suck up in hard to reach places seamlessly was something I’m not willing to give up. Another not so great for me was vacuuming area rugs. If you go in the wrong direction it will not budge without serious effort. I nearly blew out my shoulder a couple times! It’s great that the suction is that strong, but what good is it for it to be lightweight if you can’t push it to vacuum? My final not so great was how short the cord is. I could vacuum my living room and kitchen with the plug on my Dyson, I had to unplug 3 times to get through these rooms with this vacuum. In the end, I bought another Dyson. These were things I couldn’t sacrifice. But if you’re just using this vacuum for basic cleaning and don’t mind the negatives I pointed out - then definitely get this!!

Greater than one weekGreat vacuum sweeper that performs exactly as manufacturer suggests. However, the sweeper could be better for above floor and stairs cleaning if there was an extension attachment tube for the handle. It is a bit awkward to balance the machine on the stairs and use the short hand tool to vacuum. I tried to use an extension tube from an old sweeper, but the tube diameter on this one is much smaller and the old one kept sliding off. This is my reason for rating this tool only four stars.

> 3 dayI ordered this Vacuum August 28, 2022 and have been happy with it. But today I was disappointed. 1 month later(September 30,2022) The vacuum belt has already snapped. I have never had a belt snap this fast on any vacuum. I now have to purchase a new belt.

> 3 dayQuick back story: Ive always been a Dirt Devil fan. Theyve had the best cleaning ability such as strong suckage (I dont think thats a word!) I replaced my old Dirt Devil with a new model 4 years ago and I hated it! So its replacement was a Bissell. It held up pretty good until maybe 6 months ago the clip that holds the dirt in the cannister broke off. That became a nightmare when it came time to empty it into the trash can. So, I wanted to go cordless and did a ton of research but Im not rich and I havent won the lottery so the Dyson brand was out. I chose a brand of a cordless vacuum that in familiar with and own several other of their products. I ordered it and tried it out after it had been fully charged. I thought it did pretty good. I have 3 pomeranians and their fluff is everywhere. The second time I used it it didnt seem to work as well. I pulled it apart and discovered it had a blockage of hair and dirt in the tube. I couldnt figure out why exactly. I believe it was cuz I only vacuum once a week and I was using the turbo level and it was too much. So I thought OK Ill vacuum twice a week. I had the same problem. To make this long story longer I was disappointed. So back to the drawing board I went. I read all the reviews on this Eureka and decided Id give it a go and if I hated it I would return it. Pros: It has an extra large canister because, and it says this: you dont have to empty it so often. Apparently the creators of this vacuum cleaner do not lived in a home with multiple pets! Ha! Ive used it twice now and had to empty the canister. THIS IS NOT A COMPLAINT. I had to dump my Bissell after every single time. Weight: thus magical cleaner I think it said it weighs 8 pounds but Ill tell you what it feels like 5 pounds. Its so light weight you would think it was cheap and cant handle the job of 3 very fluffy dogs. I am happy to report it does the job very well. My Bissell never sucked up as much dirt or hair as this Eureka. It blows my mind that there is that much dirt in my carpets! Attachments: I honestly never use attachments. Im a neat freak but on the flip side Im also lazy and its extra work to use them. On this vacuum it has 3 places to hold the attachments. My Bissell was the same but I kept knocking them off. On this model theyre pretty secure. Cons: If I wanted to go back to a corded model I wanted a retractable cord. This model does not have that feature. To be honest its a WANT not a NEED but it would be great if they changed this on the next model. I also dont wrap the cord on the provided pegs. Its a time waster! Cord length. I dont know why the manufacturer of any vacuum cleaner only gives you 20 to 25 feet!! Because Im lazy I hate plugging it in one one end of my home and get to the end of the cord and have to stop, unplug, move it to a new outlet. Thus the reason I wanted a cordless vacuum. This cord is 23 to 25 feet long and I cant remember if its 23 or 25. I have to use a 6 foot extension cord so I dont have to move it to a new outlet. I live in a duplex that has no stairs and I know not everybody isnt that lucky. Im just saying because I live on one level the cord length would be great. I have owned several different brands of vacuum cleaners from a dirt devil to a Hoover and even a Shark. I also currently have a Eurkea quick up for my kitchen so I knew the Eureka vacuum cleaner was a good bet. Sadly they dont make these anymore. So, if you want a vacuum cleaner that sucks up a ton of dirt, have animals in your home, and is very light weight I recommend this model!

> 3 dayEven though the vacuum is easy to assemble, I was surprised (disappointed may be a better word), that the instructions were only in French. ?!?!? I still managed to put it together in a couple of minutes, but it begs the question as to whether the unit I received was a returned item and missing something. This did not appear to be the case from the way it was packaged so maybe it was a lack of quality control. Anyway, I tried it this morning before I discarded the box to ensure it worked properly, so I adjusted the height of the base for my type of carpeting and gave it a whirl. I really thought my carpet was clean since I’ve been using my old and trusty Oreck that I’ve had for a very long time. Unfortunately, it recently gave up the ghost so I ordered the Eureka vacuum because of good reviews and attractive price. I said “I thought my carpet was clean” since after just a quick test vacuuming I was amazed at the amount of dust and dirt the Eureka sucked up without any effort on my part. So the performance part gets a huge THUMBS UP! Cons, well, just the lack of instructions in English and a power cord that could be longer. If you have plenty of outlets, you probably won’t mind. If you don’t, you’ll get annoyed pretty darn fast. Also, one of the attachments has no home anywhere on the vacuum (unless there is info in the manual which, again, I’m unable to read since it is written in French). Other than that, this vacuum is a bargain and it works (sucks) amazingly well, so I am pleased with my purchase. I will try to find the users manual online (in English) to make sure I learn how to use it to its full potential. If you decide to get one, I think you’ll be happy with your purchase. Thanks for reading, or as (I think) the French say... merci buckets! lol.

> 3 dayI wasn’t satisfied with the light weight “stick” type vacuum cleaners though they were easy to operate. This one is much heavier and harder to maneuver but the suction is much better. My one fairly large rug looks clean now! We have 5 cats which is mostly why I upgraded to the Eureka!
