> 24 hourI use this to remove rust from antique tools. It’s easy and safe to use and it’s reusable. Keep a big funnel with the jug of Evapo-Rust to pour from your working container back into the jug. Evapo-Rust gives a “soft” even look compared to products with phosphoric acid. It’s a completely different chemical process.

> 24 hourThis product exceeds expectations! Inwas so excited about the way Evapo-Rust worked that I splashed some over my safety glasses into my eye. I made a dash for the house but stopped when I realized I was blinking it out! No burn or dread like with some caustic products that dont work half as good. I am about to order my second batch but will get the 3 gallon for the bucket and pail. Dont worry! I can pour the first gallon through a strainer straight into the first gallon. It just keeps on working! Should have called it Rust-Eater! ha

> 24 hourI use this stuff on every rusty part I get my hands on!! Works best warn, I have noticed [room temp., as opposed to overnight outside.] Clean the part as best you can speeds derusting time, as well. I was trying to press out a stuck bearing out of a old, rusty steering knuckle that would not budge with 50 tons of press pressure!! Tried oils, heating and nothing!! soaked overnight outside in evapo-rust and the bearing move a little. then, soaked overnight again in my shop. The next day one bearing came out by hand, the other with a light pressing. I liked Evapo-Rust before, that press sold me!! Now, I LOVE THIS STUFF!!!

> 24 hourAbsolute best rust remover available, works better than any other Ive tried, but MUST be able to soak items, not nearly as effective as a spray.

> 24 hourReally works good. Had some tools rusted closed and couldn’t be opened. Left them in some of this overnight and looked brand new next morning!

> 24 hourI have since learned that plain vinegar and salt works even better and costs far less so I wont be buying again. However.... it doesnt seem to have strong chemicals so that is why I originally purchased this product and found it to do an acceptable job, in most cases.

> 24 hourGot a vintage pot belly stove I want to clean up and use in my shop. It had a ton of rust abd I looked up different methods abd this seemed to be a miracle product so I got three gallons and soaked the dismantled stove. I kept checking every few hours, and every check yeilded very little progress. Let it soak fir TWO DAYS! Not only is most the rust still on it but now it has that Ive been killing myself to clean off on top of the rust. This picture taken halfway through the post-soak scrubbing. The pieces were WAAAY worse when I removed them for this miracle rust remover.

> 24 hourI used Evapo-Rust to restore and clean up a bunch of rusty tools and they look great. Some items took more than 24 hour and I was OK with that. A couple of tools I restored only had a black oxide coating and the Evapo-Rust removed the coating. It wasnt a big deal and I plan to either put a light coat of protectorate (oil or a rust inhibitor) on them or reapply the black oxide.

> 24 hourPurchased to de-rust some metal springs and clips. Put them in the rust remover for a couple hours and rinsed with water. Some of the springs turned a darker color, probably due to some chemical reaction (not an issue for me) but otherwise the rust was gone. Shouldve bought it locally at the hardware store after I found out they stocked it, but needed this quickly and didnt want to go out due to Covid.
