> 3 dayThis product is amazing! I have been helping my son restore a 1970 GTO. He gave me a basket full of small rusted parts. Added a gallon of the product, dropped in the parts. After a day turned all the parts and let them soak another day. At the end of day two ALL of the rust was gone. Cut a piece of Cheese Cloth to use as a filter and poured the Evapo-Rust back in the gallon container. A week or so later got some additional parts use the product again, same great results.

> 3 dayIve never used a product for de-rusting that works as well as this. Seriously, the items you put in come out looking new--not just cleaned and de-rusted, but NEW. It leaves no pitting or discoloration and the liquid lasts a surprisingly long time. Just fill a container and use it multiple times. Throw away any other method you have and get this. EDIT (June 2019): I have finally used up my first jug of this. It became very black in color and stopped de-rusting anything, even if soaked overnight. But it lasted a very long time and it died (at least partially) because I was using it to clean cast iron cookware. It turns out that Evapo-rust also easily removes old seasoning from cast iron pans. However, this leaves the dissolved fats in the Evapo-rust, which reduces its effectiveness, so I dont necessarily recommend it for this purpose since Evapo-rust is not super cheap.

> 3 dayUsed this on a motorcycle fuel tank that was rusty inside. I left it in for 24 hours shook it up every hour or so and left it on a different side after shaking. Tank holds 6 gallons and i used 2 gallons of evaporust product. After 24 hours i poured product out and rinsed it out 10 or 12 times and it got really clean. No smell no harsh chemicals. I put back in original containers to use again. Will buy again.

Greater than one weekThis stuff worked really, really well on some very old, very rusted gym equipment I own. The problem is it really is not enough liquid to soak substantial projects, and it is entirely dependent on the container you have. The larger the container, the less depth youll get, and the smaller the item you are de-rusting needs to be. Its kind of a double-edged sword. If there was more liquid for the price, this would be perfect.

> 3 dayWow I can’t believe this worked this way / I let it sit for 24 hours then wiped it down then took a piece of sandpaper to get to this color but the liquid did most of the work about 98% well worth it and it’s reusable I’ve done 5 ther items since I’ve purchased it —IF YOU READ ALL THE THE INSTRUCTIONS AND GIVE IT THE 24 hours to work you will be glad as well ✔️
