> 3 dayThese pencils are as wonderful as everyone says. I read a ton of reviews before buying because I am no artist so any investment in quality materials has to pay off in pure personal pleasure and satisfaction. Everything I read said they are wonderful, but I started with the small set of 12 anyway. I wanted to see if the pencil quality would encourage me to draw more. The quality does! I would love to have bought the set of 60 or even 120. I can already see from the greatly increased time I am spending drawing that that day will come. I enjoy using these pencils so much more than other colored pencils Ive tried. The color lays down beautifully. Its easy to achieve effects from translucent through saturated and opaque. No bloom because they are not wax based. Just outstanding in every way!

Greater than one weekI was a little worried about shipping but they were packed well and arrived in perfect condition. Excellent pencils for serious artists.

> 3 dayI’m returning these. These are just colored pencils not dissolvable with any solvent or solution. Which I probably didn’t read the description correctly. The leads break or are broken. Nothing special about these colored pencils. Not to mention the price is astronomical for colored pencils. Try the Faber-Castell watercolor pencils for the same price and be amazed. They are awesome.

Greater than one weekAs many reviews state I have tried many brands of pencil and these Polychromos are top of the line. I did not plan to keep them in the tin but with 3 trays showing the shades side by side it is optimal. Prisma is second best but great with these as there are colors in each set the other does not have. Honestly I can put all the others up and just have these 2 sets on hand. The poloychromos pencils have a great feel and are wider in diameter than others and they are so smooth and feel great in your hand. Not one of the 120 were broken and sharpen nicely to a fine tip without breaking. Prisma has more trouble than these. Also I waited till these were on sale and with my amazon points I only paid 42.00 for the tin set of 120. Love them!

> 3 dayThese were a gift to my daughter and she said they are her favorite. I used some as well and they are smooth and have every color under the sun. Better than Prismacolor. Id buy myself a if the price would lower to what I paid for them in March 2019, which was $151. Otherwise, Ill get them at Jerrys Artarama or Dick Blick for $179.99. Love Amazons free ship but $205 currently is too much for me.

> 3 dayI just use my pencils to color so it seems very self indulgent to spend this much on them, but after using these, they are so worth it. They color smoother and can color darker. Blending colors is lovely. There doesnt seem to be an end to how many layers of color you can put on a piece of paper. Want to redden up that orange? with these pencils you can do it no matter how dark and thick the orange already is. I bought this set because it is the smallest set that includes turquoise and purple. I thought the box would be small enough to use easily on the small table I use in the living room. Though it is possible if I am careful and the cats arent walking on my table, usually I pull out the colors I intend to use and put them in a smaller tin when I color in the living room. On the dining table or desk, the tin is a perfect size. I like the metal box, but the quality of the pencils is the reason for buying this brand.

> 3 dayPackaging wasn’t the best but my issue may be manufacturer related. My pencil is damaged and I’m unsure if it’s cracked or what but it appears to be cracked and then maybe glued. I’m very disappointed as these pencils are not cheap, and I do not live near any place that sells them open stock; I’d need to purchase a whole new set to replace this one.
