Greater than one weekThis set is GORGEOUS! I am assuming that if you are looking at this set you are already sold on the virtues of the Faber-Castell Polychromos colored pencil. So I wont be discussing their rich color, their creaminess, sturdiness, or that they are oh so worth the price. Instead, I will review this 150 color set. (Pictured) They come in a rectangular tin, which isnt as sturdy as Id like it to be. It would also be nice if it came with a solid way to keep the top closed. But then, you pop it open, and the beauty of the set knocks your socks off. The pinks, reds, blues, grays, greens, etc ... so vivid. No color is repeated. The shades are varied enough to tell the difference between each one. (Pictured) It was properly shipped. None of my pencils are broken, and all of the tips are perfectly sharpened. There are three trays, and each tray has an elastic on either end for easy lifting. (Pictured) The bottom of each tray has been lined with foam (pictured) making the tray more sturdy. The pencils do not easily pop out. (Attempted picture) Im so glad I own this set. It will give me hours of joy. And you too.

> 3 dayOur teacher recommended it. Seems a bit expensive. But totally worth it. Beautiful color. Very smooth and blends well. It makes me love my drawing even more.

> 3 dayI purchased these recently along with several coloring books. I had been using Prismacolors, but when I started watching tutorials on YouTube, I was these pencils mentioned quite often so I decided to try them out. I was unsure at first if I preferred them or the Prismacolors, but after completing a few coloring pages I definitely think the Polychromos win out. They are very easy to blend, and dont have the same waxy build up that the Prismacolors do. If you purchase these pencils be sure to also get a nice sharp pencil sharpener or you will not be able to get a good tip.

> 3 dayOkay, I do a lot of adult coloring books coloring and Prismas was my go to pencil for a very long time. I got tired of how easy the Prismas kept breaking, and no matter how I sharpened them a new pencil would be down half its size by the time I finished a few pictures. I bought these pencils do to so many others using them and they work much better for me. Being a harder pencil seems to work for me and they are a bit expensive, but I ordered a 2nd set during the Holiday season when they lower the price. Since I purchased these I hardly use any of my other pencils.

> 3 dayThese pencils are well-made, beautiful,, and come and a wide range of colors, and I loved them at first sight! But unfortunately I had to return them. I have fibromyalgia and it was just too much for me to have to press down because the cores of the pencils are very hard. They would make we have muscle spasms all the way up in my neck area from using them. I would not recommend them for anyone with fibromyalgia arthritis etc. Other than that they are great if you do not have health issues such as the ones that I’ve described.

> 3 dayI am in love with these pencils. they are the best pencils that I have used ever. They are more than worth the price. I prefer these pencils as they dont wear down quickly and the fact that you dont need to sharpen them too much, they hold their points longer. I had bought the Prisma colour verithins just to try those out, and I was disappointed as they break very easily even though those are to be of a harder lead, but these Faber castells are awesome. I had tried them out singularly, and then decided to buy the 120 set as I wanted to get all the colours. I do not regret my purchase. The colors are varied and very saturated. You dont need a lot to get full coverage, especially in colouring books, which is my main use for them. The leads are thick and are very easy to sharpen to a nice sharp point. They are creamy and smooth and so easy to blend with other colours. I had no problem blending the colours together to get a nice mix down. You get three trays of colours in the tin. All in all my best purchase ever.

> 3 daylove the pencils! Disappointed in the condition they arrived--- seemed to be packaged well. When I took the plastic off the tin- there were many different colors of small particles of pigment all over the inside of the plastic as well as on the outside of the tin. Inside- the same issue. Colors all over the inside of the tin- as well as pieces of the tips of the pencils broken off. The tin was well closed- so it appears that it was packaged this way- not something that happened in transit. Sad since the pencils are of high quality and expensive. Frustrating to receive them this way but not worth the hassle of returning them.

> 3 dayThese are beautiful pencils. The pencils lay down like butter and the colors are rich and vivid and easy to blend. The pencils hold a point and sharpen beautifully. They are a pleasure to use, but I still find it hard to say if I like them better than the Prismacolors. Where other people have had a lot of trouble with broken pencils, I havent. Both of these sets are my go to pencils, with Derwents being a very close second, but then you can never have enough pencils and each set brings something new. I do think that none of the other cheaper sets of pencils reach the quality of the polychromos, prismacolors or derwents.
