> 3 dayI received a blue box with replacement screen inside. Box had sticker label saying “replacement digitizer ... ipad 6th generation for A1893 ... + professional tool kit” 1-there was no tool kit inside. 2-glass inside was wider than my A1893 6th gen 2018 ipad 3-there was another sticker under this original sticker with different product SKU code and barcode

04-12-2024Very easy to install. Everything works. I sliced through my original apple home button By accident so I used the replacement that came with this set. It only works as a home button now, no fingerprint iD. Which is fine, it’s my 4 year olds iPad anyway. However, the center of the screen there’s a small area that wont detect your touch.

> 3 dayI was able to fix but only after watching videos online. There were no instructions included. Most videos show the use of a heating element to help removal of broken screen. Also not included. Given how much I struggled to remove the old screen I’m guessing the heating element would have made it easier.

> 3 dayFollow some instructions I saw on Youtube and these replacement parts worked perfectly - The glass was smooth and durable - similar to OEM - The adhesion was tight and held the glass securely down - The touch digitizer was accurately and responsive - A home button was included even though it wasnt needed. Overall - i appreciated the quality of the replacement parts given their affordable price. If my screen were to be cracked again - i would purchase this again.

> 3 dayThe screen looks pixelated or maybe the quality isn’t as great as original but for kids it’s fine make sure you use original home screen button if you want it to be touch screen

> 3 dayTo be honest I wasn’t expecting much or the best. But screen touch works well overall, I’ve yet to have a problem and it’s been a week. Unfortunately as it’s not an Apple product and possibly doesn’t work with the IPad software which makes the Touch ID unusable.

> 3 dayI would give this five stars except there are no instructions. You will find everything you need to help replace the screen and you can find instructions underneath the description, plus various videos online. I have seen one video where there is a microwaveable heat pac provided to sit on top of the old screen to warm and loosen the glue, which would have been a good addition. However, for the price, this was great. Changing the screen was a bit daunting as it was completely smashed, but we covered it with packing tape before following all the video instructions we found and using the other tools provided. It’s a tricky job and you have to be careful to see how you are taking it apart in order to reverse the process when you put it back together again. It is more than simply lifting the old screen and putting the new screen on as you have to detach certain ribbon cables then re-attach them when you replace the screen. It helped that we had two people working on mine. Once it was assembled, I was amazed that it works perfectly. I don’t use the thumb print ID nor a touch screen pencil so cannot comment on how they work, but using my fingers, the touch screen is at least as good as before!

> 3 dayI dont know if this is because of a mistake I did or its the screen, a very thin 2mm along the bottom from the screen area like a strip near the edge isnt responding, however, other screen parts is more than excellent. still, i recommend to have it
