Home button very hard to press after only two days. Also did not come with double back tape

Really impressed with the screen and tools

The screen quality is bad, look like a $15 screen from eBay, however the tool is helpful( still hard to installed, take 2 hours). HOME BOTTON IS NOT WORKING, HOWEVER I DONT WANT TO RETURN IT BECAUSE TAKE FOREVER TO INSTALL ALREADY, DONT WANT TO DO AGAIN

My screen is finally fixed. It took me 3 hours to complete. I’m a housewife with no expertise other than watching two videos to guide me with removal and install of new screen. I found it hard because my screen edges were shattered to tiny pieces so it made it more difficult to get glass out. I had to use a razor because I didn’t have the heat g mat and a hair blower was not working. The other part that was tricky was that the plug for the home button kept sliding out of its connection port. So even the slightest movement on that plug will cause you issues on touch screen so make sure once you get the broken screen off and the secondary screen is off make sure plug is in and put a tiny piece of tape to prevent it from moving. Make sure not to cover screw hole. Before adding tape to hold it securely in place the touch screen did not work… it had some dead spots on screen making it impossible to press passcode. But a quick search on you tube found me someone who said to secure the Home Screen plug in it’s port with a tiny piece of tape. That made it work great. paying $25 was definately better than $150 that I was quoted

I can follow written instructions. I cannot understand why these pricks wouldnt add a sheet with instructions. Dont buy this unless you have experience doing this.

There Is Two Dead Spots But Everything Else Is Good.

I bought it like one and a half months ago but could not install it due to lack of time. Because the product didnt arrive with any instructions, youll have to go on YouTube and look for some random videos. The instructions on the product page on Amazon are insufficient. I observed dead patches in the center of the screen after replacing the screen. I cant even input the passcode since some of the numbers of my passcode fall in the center of the screen. I needed to rotate the iPad so that the numbers fall into a different part of the screen that responds to touch. With some difficulty, I was able to enter the passcode and later turned it off. Ipad is working except that I need to keep rotating it if it doesnt respond at some parts of the screen. I am not sure if it is an issue with the product or I messed up something.

Even with a support video to walk you through the process, it was impossible to install and have the Ipad work afterward. Get help from a professional.

No instructions in box and on page ones are far from detailed enough, can not get the home buttons to work which worked before. Rest works fine now and screeens replaced. Would like to be the home button to work, old screen had better wire management for that ribbon as well as a price that held it in place once connected this one I assume came loose or jsut didn’t work for that button. But granted kids broke it badly it at least functions again for movies and games Also very hard to keep the back of the screen clean and wipes dried so fast you couldn’t get it clean at all just made it worse, needed a better wet wipe or back of screen protector until ready to install
