I can follow written instructions. I cannot understand why these pricks wouldnt add a sheet with instructions. Dont buy this unless you have experience doing this.

There were no instructions, but several videos on Youtube. You need to wear safety goggles when removing a cracked screen. I also recommend wearing thin rubber gloves to keep the tiny glass pieces from getting on your fingers. Most of the removal was tedious, but I took my time and made sure all the glue was removed. I used acetone to clean everything. The main issue was getting the new glass to fit right. You have to remove the adhesive from the connectors and fold them over for the glass to fit flush. Apparently, the contacts must line up just right with the glass for it to work properly. I tried several times and could not get it to work. Also the adhesive is pretty weak and didnt stick very well. After several attempts to line things up and , press in the glass and then remove again, I gave up and ordered from iFixit. It was about $25 more without the tools and it worked great. The adhesive from iFixit was much stronger and you have to be careful when installing because it was very sticky.

No instructions in box and on page ones are far from detailed enough, can not get the home buttons to work which worked before. Rest works fine now and screeens replaced. Would like to be the home button to work, old screen had better wire management for that ribbon as well as a price that held it in place once connected this one I assume came loose or jsut didn’t work for that button. But granted kids broke it badly it at least functions again for movies and games Also very hard to keep the back of the screen clean and wipes dried so fast you couldn’t get it clean at all just made it worse, needed a better wet wipe or back of screen protector until ready to install

Great screen replacement, easy to replace it came with everything needed. Definitely recommend a heat gun makes replacing the screen a breeze.

not even a week and just got a dead zone,

Defective Half of my screen doesn’t work.

I dropped my iPad from the hood of my truck and cracked the screen. The replacement screen worked great, just like new.

I have ordered this product 3 times, all 3 of these times there are dead cells on the screen. I didnt send back the last replacement, because I figured there would be dead cells on the next one. I took it as a loss just so something is on my iPad before I take it to apple for a new screen. Please dont waste your time or money.

I spent 4 hours and finally installed new screen. Most of the time was spent to take off broken screen. Taking off shattered screen was not easy and it was tricky. Many small glasses are scattered all over my room and also I broke one of two speakers during taking it off. Still one speaker works, so it is fine. Frustrating point for this new screen is glass quality. It is poor than original one. I can see the difference and touching is not smooth. Also included home button does not support fingerprint scanner, so original part should be reused. However, at the reasonable price, this works reasonably. Overall, this is a reasonable screen at reasonable price, but required efforts to replace new screen is high and tricky. If someone ask me what to do with shattered screen. I will recommend to buy new iPad instead replacing screen.

The screen looks pixelated or maybe the quality isn’t as great as original but for kids it’s fine make sure you use original home screen button if you want it to be touch screen
