It would have cost more for a pro to replace the screen than my old Ipad was worth....so I figured Id give it a try. It arrived sooner than expected and contained all the part. However, there were ZERO instructions. NONE! I looked at the steps provided above in the description of the item, but they are of little to no help. I ended up having to search YouTube for instructions. In the end my home button is messed up and the screen is not flush in one corner. So I’m going to have to replace it again... PS-youll need a heat gun or hairdryer, glasses to protect your eyes, and vinyl (disposable) gloves.

Installation was typical, but more and more dead spots on the digitizer appeared over time. Some of the dead spots would respond to harder presses, but not all. Its only been a couple months. I would have expected this to last longer than that

my 14 year son shattered his new i pad screen the first week he had it order this screen came in two days took 30 min for us to install yes my son did half the work watch the video pice of cake works perfect also you must have a heat gun.

Touch screen worked good, as stated in the description the touch id will not work, but not having to move the button from the old glass made the swap much easier, when first turning on the ipad it tells you the touch id isnt working, but you will still be able to log in. I would purchase again.

Received it fast, easy enough to install but screen is already acting up. Sometimes can’t type, dead spots on screen, etc.

Worked for a few month and then touch screen started failing. Poor quality!

Installed perfectly but the touch screen doesnt work in the middle. If youre on a drawing app, you can really tell

I’ll admit I was very nervous thinking about doing it. However to have it done professionally was almost the same price I paid for the iPad. So after everyone else went to bed I started. I found a YouTube find that matched the device I have. Glass removal went easy, so do removing the led screen. Install was fairly easy as well. I did struggle a little getting the glass to lay flat. That was my own fault, I had missed a small piece of the old adhesive. I powered it back on and it seems to work just fine. Tomorrow we be the ultimate test, when we give it back to our 3yr old.
