I have replaced many screens in my life, and this replacement was pretty low quality. One of the parts broke off in the iPad when I was installing it. It rendered the iPad completely useless and had to buy another one. And while I got my money back for a crappy product I had to throw the iPad away and buy a different one. Very expensive mistake in buying this product.

#1, no instructions come with it. I had to watch numerous YouTube videos to figure this out. The instructions they do give on Amazon are tiny little diagrams that make no sense. #2 after I got it all hooked up, nothing worked: not the touch screen or the home button. And believe me, I tried every combo I could plugging and re-plugging the connectors. So, now I am out an iPad and this $30 fix didnt work. Pretty bummed.

This product was great. It came with tools and it was easy to install. Price was reasonable. I would definitely recommend this product

Screen works great. The Touch ID however does not work but the home button does function as the home button.

Fit very well

As usual it’s easy to install since I have almost 10 years of experience not just repairing iPhones and iPad but I have been in the electronics industry for over 20 years. You have to really know what you’re doing. If not, let the professionals fix it.

Here over a month into installation and it seems to be working fine. My kids complain at times that the touch screen doesnt work. I usually close the application or restart the ipad and its back to working....wondering if it could be an issue in the future.

I was able to fix but only after watching videos online. There were no instructions included. Most videos show the use of a heating element to help removal of broken screen. Also not included. Given how much I struggled to remove the old screen I’m guessing the heating element would have made it easier.

There was no instructions... and my husband managed to end end up breaking another piece trying to replace the glass. Now the iPad is trash and the glass is useless
