These work great with Alexa! I have two plugs so far. It is a bit tricky to set up using Smartlife but once you get the hang of it it is solid. A great feature is that the device also has time-clock capability. You can schedule on and off times (or just one) so if you forget to turn something on or off, you are covered. The instructions are typically poor and need to be translated into workable English; but if you download SmartLife on your wifi phone it will automatically discover the plug and then you can name it anything you want for Alexa.

This product will not pair with my Alexa. Not worth the hassle.

This product was great...at first. It was easy to set up and I liked being able to control it from my phone and set recurring timers. However, about two months in I noticed some flickering (I had my grow lights plugged into it), and then I noticed it didnt always turn on when it was set to do so, and over the following days it stopped responding reliably to the app, and then tonight it started this constant low volume high-pitched whine and would no longer pair with my device (I did a lot of troubleshooting to no avail). I am disappointed, since the reviews suggested this was a good product and I thought it would last a few years at least.

I don’t normally leave bad reviews, I’m normally pretty lenient and accepting of flaws with items I purchase, I’m not technologically challenged nor do I give up without trying to troubleshoot why something isn’t working. I bought one singular outlet for a very simple task. I wanted to schedule a light to turn on for 12 hours a day. That’s it. Nothing fancy, no sunrise or sunset, no proximity if this then that settings. Just a simple schedule. I have repaired and reset the plug. I’ve tried (many many many times) to update it to no avail, it doesn’t struggle. It just doesn’t do ANYTHING. Half of the time to app doesn’t even recognize it as being on the network in spite of being within 15 feet of a router. The schedule function in the app? Half the time doesn’t even show my schedule I’ve repeatedly set up. Tried setting up a scene and using if 8am turn on and if 8pm turn off. None of it works. Not a single feature. What I’m left with is a bulky plug that I can toggle on and off when and only if I’m home. Which is absolutely useless. I already can do that. It’s called a light switch. I’m either going to return this and buy the tp-link variety that seems to be widely accepted as the gold standard, or I’ll simply throw this in the garbage because that’s where it belongs. Or I might just get a mechanical timer, like I have in the past. You know what doesn’t fail to do what I want? A mechanical timer. Silly me for thinking technology had come far enough to just work. If 0 stars were an option I’d give this 0 stars.

Works like a champ. No complaints at all. The app is simple to connect and if the power goes out or its unplugged it still remembers everything just fine
