> 3 dayThe only reason I purchased this item was for use with my Google Home. Frakever is not an option in the Google Home app. Also, there were no instructions so I had to google around to figure out you have to download the BrightFun app for setup.

07-06-2025Works perfectly with Google Home and Mini. Set up and connect to Home/Mini via Smart Life app. Its a few extra steps but it works and you dont need to tell Home to connect to Smart Life app first like before. Just say Hey Google turn on living room lamp and bingo! Cant beat the price either. The only negative is that its a little big so partially covers adjoining socket on power strip.

> 3 dayIve bought several of these plugs and after only a few months two of them have failed. When they fail they do not just turn off. They strobe (continually turn the device on an off.). When this happens they are impossible to reset. Depending on the device you have connected this could be a major problem. Choose another brand from another manufacturer. DO NOT BUY.

Greater than one weekUnlike some other previously purchased units, these are extrememly easy to set up. They also do not lose their settings when being unplugged and moved to another location, even days later.

> 3 dayI have too many smart plugs installed around my home (according to my wife :). BUT these have a very useful extra - they monitor how much electricity has flowed through them! For those power-hungry electric heaters, its a great feature to have (and yes, they have the needed ampacity to run an electric heater). With the smart home integration, you can make sure that heater gets TURNED OFF before the electric bill hits the roof. From my tests, it works great (in Smart Home - Google & Alexa operate the device, but dont report power usage... too bad). I have not independently checked how accurate they are - I have the tools to do so, and I may update this review if they turn out to be inaccurate. Price for the 4-pack seems fair!

> 3 dayI bought this for the scheduling function. I don’t know if it’s the plug or the app, but it doesn’t work. I’ve tried 2 different ways to have the plug shut off at night and turn back on in the morning. It hasn’t been shutting off at night. When I “manually” switch it off in the app, it always turns back on in the middle of the night.

> 3 dayI don’t normally leave bad reviews, I’m normally pretty lenient and accepting of flaws with items I purchase, I’m not technologically challenged nor do I give up without trying to troubleshoot why something isn’t working. I bought one singular outlet for a very simple task. I wanted to schedule a light to turn on for 12 hours a day. That’s it. Nothing fancy, no sunrise or sunset, no proximity if this then that settings. Just a simple schedule. I have repaired and reset the plug. I’ve tried (many many many times) to update it to no avail, it doesn’t struggle. It just doesn’t do ANYTHING. Half of the time to app doesn’t even recognize it as being on the network in spite of being within 15 feet of a router. The schedule function in the app? Half the time doesn’t even show my schedule I’ve repeatedly set up. Tried setting up a scene and using if 8am turn on and if 8pm turn off. None of it works. Not a single feature. What I’m left with is a bulky plug that I can toggle on and off when and only if I’m home. Which is absolutely useless. I already can do that. It’s called a light switch. I’m either going to return this and buy the tp-link variety that seems to be widely accepted as the gold standard, or I’ll simply throw this in the garbage because that’s where it belongs. Or I might just get a mechanical timer, like I have in the past. You know what doesn’t fail to do what I want? A mechanical timer. Silly me for thinking technology had come far enough to just work. If 0 stars were an option I’d give this 0 stars.
