I didn’t think I could get so excited about TAPE. But here we are… we installed a dash cam in our Toyota RAV4 and I needed to tape down the wires that were getting in the way. So originally, I used black duct tape but it looked so terrible and I hated looking at it every time I got in the car. Enter Gaffer Tape?! I didn’t even know such thing existed until Amazon. Worked like a charm, matte black, super easy and malleable to use, doesn’t leave a sticky residue when you peel off, and just plain awesome. Now everything is taped down and tucked away and I couldn’t be more happy. This tape is staying in my toolbox permanently. Loveee it!

This tape is everything. I have taped so many things, the flaps on the window AC that were falling apart and the gaps above it and below it, the gaps on the portable AC, the cords trailing from the window AC, and some veneer pieces that were coming apart from the IKEA Malm bedframe that were scraping my hands when I made the bed. The tape is unnoticeable, easy to cut with your fingers, and easy to apply and remove with no sticky residue. Beautiful. Gaffers tape, where have you been all my life?!

Works as advertised! Great quality and adhesion. I would say this particular brand has worked better than other Gaff tape brands I’ve used. Will buy again once I need to replenish.

If you want gaffer tape you might as well get the best and it seems to me this is it.

I bought this to attach a dowel to a vinyl banner, and it is holding up well. I’ve very satisfied with this tape, and will be using it for other applications around the house. I even purchased an additional roll in another color because I liked the first purchase. It’s a good product.

Used this to repair book bindings. Worked well but found much less expensive items.

Since discovering gaffers tape I have used it extensively for two things it wasn’t meant for. 1) Im moving my farm from Mo to Wi and if you think THAT is anything less than a monumental task, you are wrong. I bought 40 of those large black heavy duty plastic bins with locking tops to pack and sort heav hand tools and hardware in to make moving -at least the farm end of things- easier. But nothing would stick to them! No Duct tape would last more than a few days or weeks with the changing humidity and temps on those super slick plastic tubs. It would just fall off. But this stuff does! And comes in colors so I can write on them with a Sharpie, then use different colors for different buildings for them to go to at the new place like; Purple for the house, Red for the garage, Yellow for the barn, Green for the workshop. . And this stuff tears easily, the Sharpie doesnt smear and it sticks tight and comes off cleanly! Wow. Finally. Something that actually works like its supposed to! 2) my ancient blind and deaf hound With dementia and urinary incontenence and now also sundowners, walks the house at night peeing and pooping. So I put him in diapers, then a belly wrap and then a waterproof diaper over it all and had to create non stretchy mitten clips of different lengths to secure it all onto his harness. Gaffers tape was the answer. Which also seals all the edges. Hey, it looks ridiculous but it works. yay gaffers tape! No more dog pee/poop in the morning. Dog is happy and I am too.
