Games Workshop Citadel - Pot à Eau

> 24 hourI scoffed when I saw this branded cup at the game store. Then I saw the ridges along the bottom and sides of the cup and the grooves for refining the brush tip and the place molded into the top of the cup to rest the brush. Im used to drawing the brush across a paper towel to form the tip and remove excess water. Using the grooves on the side of the cup, the point is mostly formed and the excess water mostly shed. As a result, drawing the brush across a paper towel only leaves a trace of water, and Im not replacing soggy paper towels every hour. In addition, the ridges on the bottom and sides of the cup help to remove paint by drawing the brush over them (as opposed to simply swirling it around in a glass jar). With less paint held up in the brush, in theory brush life will be extended. The cup is also lightweight and solid. It seems silly to buy a water cup, but the innovations in this one are proving very useful and convenient.

> 24 hourIm new to painting, but this has definitely helped a ton! the ridges are helpful to quickly clean my brushes and the grooves are there to help get that point again. Im strictly against the old school method of using my mouth to wet and form the tip of my brush! Im not going to be a paint eater... gross!

> 24 hourI didnt think this would make a big difference but decided to try it. The ridges on the bottom make it easier to get the black and red paint off my brushes. I had to wash my brushes multiple times before they would start to look clean but now its a single or double wash and dry and they look like new (minus the paint on the handle).
