> 24 hourI missed the fact that its EtherCON capable. While does have std connectors, theyre inside a hard plastic housing so theres no way to plug them into a typical device such as a router or wall plate. Well, there is: I could unscrew and remove the end housing but that would leave the connector exposed and weakened, not how it was intended to be used. My fault for not paying enough attention. I will return this cable as I have no EtherCON connections to use it on. That said, it does appear to be a very high quality cable, no complaints about the that.

> 24 hourNot much to say. The connections are well-built and the cable jacket is very thick and you can feel the quality. CAT6 might be an issue for me as the system has issues and wants CAT5E (I know, dont ask). But no matter what, I can use this for my non-powered 4 XLR cable snake as well as Dante or AES50.

> 24 hourHave a decently large home studio facility and I was all too happy to reduce a lot of my XLR cable clutter by switching to EtherCON cables and a few multi-channel XLR over eQuality Cable - Helped Reduce lots of clutterthernet extenders I now have two sets of mics (4 each, formerly fully on XLS), connected to a 4 channel XLR over Ethernet box, connected to this EtherCON cable, which runs to the other size of the studio, into the other wise of the 4 channel XLR over Ethernet box, where I have very short XLR runs from it to my board. These cables are also great for DMX for lighting purposes or AES for digital audio as well. And because these EtherCON compatible cables connect like typical XLR type cables they cant just pull out easily, which is great. These cables are REALLY high quality. Would highly recommend.

> 24 hourI got this cable to connect a 4 channel digital snake in my home studio. I am very impressed with how well made this cable is. It works great with the digital snake and sound quality is fantastic. I will use this company again for other cable needs.

> 24 hourI am not a geeked-out techie. I dont run all the numbers, nor have the ability to run all the numbers to layout the details of this cable. But, here is what I do know as a non-techie: I run 1 gig fiber into my home. I am hard wired off my router, but have always received 680-730meg speeds when I run speed tests by Ookla, which isnt bad at all. I felt like I should be getting more and thought that my ethernet cable may be part of the issue. I had a CAT 7 cable. When I saw this CAT 6 cable, I thought I would try it, even though, technically, it was a step down. For the last 6 days, I have run tests twice a day - middle of the afternoon and in the late evening. My speed were up by an average of 7-8% faster - 730 - 790. Ill take that. I run a lot of video. Im not a gamer, but with conferencing, videos, etc, if I can get an extra 7-8% out of my service, Ill take it. Whether it was on account of the new CAT 6 cable or some other condition, my only non-techie test was an increase in the positive.

> 24 hourPicture an Ethernet cable that is as heavy duty as a good mic cable and you begin to get the idea of how robust this cable is. The cable is not just heavy duty, it is also very well made. The ends are made from some great aluminum stock. Nice a thick so its not prone to any kind of failure. I know reviewing cables isnt something where you can make a lot of important revelations about the quality of the cable so Ill keep it simple. This is a very well built cable. Based on my use of it and being able to get my hands on it and look at it I have no problem saying that GeatIT has made one great product here. Its more than worth the price!

> 24 hourGeneric Ethernet cable, but well made and sturdy. Flexible insulation cover allows cables to be routed easily. Recommended

> 24 hourThis cable is thick and will be very durable. It took me a bit to figure out how to get the ends out of the shield, but twisting the metal protection and then pulling on it allows the connector to be used. I have a 1 GB speeed connection, and this cable got 911.76 Mbps download speed. My regular Cat 5 cable that I was using before this would never get past 850 Mbps. I was not really looking to increase my speeds. I just wanted something a little more heavy duty as my old Cat 5 cable I was always worried about it getting pinched or someone accidentally putting something on top of it. This cable can withstand a lot more than other cables due to its thickness. I find it to be a very good quality.

> 24 hourGreat cable to go with my network snake. Multiple audio channels can be sent through this one cable with no loss of sound quality. The cable is rugged and ready for life on the road.
