> 3 daySo our bass player is also the sound/lighting person for live performances and he likes this cable. Hes very particular about equipment, so if he says its great, thats high props. Also, he hooked it up for some online collabs and what a difference in internet speed and lack of latency as opposed to using wifi or lesser cable hookup with our cable connection.

> 3 dayNothing to complain about with this very well made etherCON-compatible audio cable which allows you to send four audio (or DMX) signals over a single CAT6 cable rather than have four long XLR cables snaking across your studio or stage. The cable is thick and robust and clicks-in securely to the GearIT 4-channel extender boxes Im using with the cable. The etherCon-style housings surrounding the RJ45 connectors on the ends are metal - assuring a solid connection with the extender boxes. The plastic RJ45 connectors themselves look rugged and fit securely into the etherCON housing that has a pre-molded metal shape on the inside that the RJ45 slides into to securely orient and hold the RJ45 in the proper position. A professional cable that sounds great.

> 3 dayGearIT CAT6 Ethernet Cable, EtherCON-Compatible RJ45 Connectors for Pro Audio, Aluminum Shielded, Oxygen Free Copper - 15 ft. - Black This a cable for carrying audio over ethernet for audio patch boxes etc. that are EtherCon compatible (audio over ethernet). With the correct equipment you can carry 4 channels of audio over Ethernet Cat6 cables. This cable is very well made and very robust. The cable core is a very heavy gage. and has serviceable metal ends. The connectors of EtherCon look like an XLR with an ethernet connection inside, instead of three pins. This gives a very robust connection for compatible floor boxes etc. Audio over Ethernet is a huge leap forward and a great way to run 4 channel audio over a distance. These cables are top notch, and work exactly as they should. This is absolutely an all pro cable. I find etherCon very exciting and have 2 sets of floor boxes I use regularly with this cable. perfect for studio or stage. Great for bands, studios, and DJays. I am very grateful to have these cables in my studio.

> 3 dayFor those of you not familiar with EtherCON cabling, theyre sort of a cross between Ethernet and XLR analog audio cables. Like XLR, they use a strong and durable latching mechanism to hold the cables into their jacks. The difference is that they arent wired like XLR; they are Ethernet with RJ-45 connectors, but these are fitted into special aluminum housings that just look like XLR from the outside. You COULD plug these into standard Ethernet switches, but only by disassembling the housing.

> 3 dayUsed at 2 gigs with no issues - feels well built and durable. However, during 3rd gig I started getting intermittent dropouts on my A&H GX4816 during sound check. Traced it back to this cable - had to run by home depot to get a quick replacement before the show. Amazon return process 5-star.

> 3 dayThese are amazing when paired with the XLR to ethernet adapters. The hold snugly and transfer sound perfectly. They easily handled phantom power with no loss. Having multi lengths make it really easy to change thee gth of runs between mics and the mixer or for submox runs. The cables are high quality. I will purchase more lengths for more flexibility. Every sound person should have this in the bag.

> 3 dayI wanted to start off by saying this cable does it jobs and works as intended. I wish there was more information to provide, but just for testing purposes, I wanted to make sure the cable was a CAT6, so I unscrewed the end housing to test the quality of the cable and it does in fact handle the correct speeds that are listed in the informational page. This is a quality product and thank you for a great product!!!

> 3 dayWhen I learned about Ethercon pretty recently, I was excited. Since then, I’ve used several types of XLR snake boxes, all connected via Ethercon, and I am totally sold. These GearIT cables are great. Well made, reliable, and carry the signal perfectly. I have tried longer runs that work great for live shows, and this shorter (10 foot) run I’m using in the home studio. Very pleased with it. I am a big fan of GearIt products, because I have had nothing but positive experiences with their equipment so far!

> 3 dayI bought this as I needed a spare 6 ft cable for my home network in the living room. This unit works perfectly and the cable is very well made and durable.
