This is a great smart plug that works seamlessly with my Alexa devices with no extra hub required. Setup was extremely easy and the plug integrated easily with my Alexa routines. The only flaw I found is there is no way to secure the plug to the outlet. Since this is a four outlet plug I had hoped it would fasten to the current outlet more permanently.

This product loses connection A LOT, which in turn- turns off my Alexa bc it’s plugged in. Even though it is plugged into the wall- the Geeni plug still won’t provide power to devices when it is “offline” too late to return. I find that the single Geeni plugs are so much better! However this 4 way plug isn’t good at all.

This outlet is 1” thick. It’s a much more compact design than many of this type which is exactly what I needed for behind our couch. Set up was the easiest of any of my smart products. Download “geeni” app, enter email address, input code mailed to your email address, pairs automatically after you enter your Wi-Fi Password. There is a soft, audible “click” as you turn off and on each plug source. Each are operated independently and you can easily name each of the 4 outlets. Connects to just your phone app, or you can use with Alexa, Google assistant, or Microsoft Cortana. No hub required, works with cell phone only if you don’t want to use a hub.

Worked at first but now the light just stays blue it wont reset or even work as a standard outlet extender. I love the Geeni smart bulbs but this is terrible and going in the trash

I use this to control lights and fans and humidifiers in my room, works great with our Alexa devices.

The 4 smart outlet plug is a great idea, the unit is well executed, shiny surface, plenty of indicator lights. But in my case, and I hope at least one reader will learn from my mistakes, it was a painful journey. Luckily I read the reviews, especially the Vine reviews which tend to be full of helpful information, usually not found in the manuals/link from this third party sellers. A bit of plug for Vine program, but I believe in it. See following. Initially one review said to follow the manual, but others said that one can stay with SmartLife and there is no need for another app. It is TRUE. My painful journey started with reading step two about the flashing light. I was waiting for the top small light to flash. It never did, in spite of all my presses on the middle button. The only thing I succeed to was to break the glue which held the middle button and end up with a useless device. To prevent that end, I took it apart, removed the PCB and epoxied the middle push bottom to the two tiny posts, and reassembled. Seeing that the middle button flashes, I used that as the indication and proceeded with SmartLife addition. It worked flawlessly, and a second later Alexa took over automatically adding the 4 outlets and the whole units for a total of 5 controllable (smart) units in my home. I hope this long review helps people in making the correct informed decision regarding the product, and help in overcoming poor documentation as well. Perfect to help control multiple items on one plug, allows scheduling for each outlet and provides easy manual control as well.

Its not in the instructions, so we ended up calling the customer service (took forever) but when we did talk to someone the person was very nice and just told us to turn off the Bluetooth on our phone!! Feel like that shouldve been in the instructions. Apart from that product is awsome.

These Geeni products work great, and super easy set up.

Is very easy to use and at the same time very useful for hands free use
