> 24 hourThis brand was fantastic, but its reliability is really bad, and their warranty department is worse. In less than a year 2 of the 5 Geeni products just stopped working, and when submitting the claim, the company has chosen to ignore them, cant get them to honor it. So 40% failure rate, no other segment of products has that dismal rate. No matter how easy to install and to manage (which I love), but if it doesnt work all this is pointless.

> 24 hourIt never could connect properly even though the router is 15 feet away. After 2 months it decided not to come on at all. Then it decided to turn on...and off, and on, and off and on! I had to unplug it before it ruined all my equipment! The first one I bought at Walmart still works great a year later.

> 24 hourI have two outlets against the walls my sectional is on - one has a smart extension outlet and finally, the other outlet now has four smart outlets - woo-hoo! My floor lamp is now controlled and a nice ceiling light tape that changes colors is also controlled! This smart 4-outlet was easy to set up - I downloaded the Geeni app and it discovered the four outlets on this set of four-on-one. I set up Alexa with the Geeni skill so I could control the outlets by voice. How cool is that? I love being able to say, Alexa, turn off the floor lamp. And shes says, okay, and the light goes out. Whats nice is that these lights or whatever you plug into the smart outlet can be controlled by your phone from sitting in your recliner to getting off a plane a thousand miles away! This one works great!

> 24 hour5/5 Rating I love this device. Its great to put in the childrens room to control their access to devices that are wall powered. Connecting can be a challenge especially if you just glazed through the directions like most would. I love that you can plug 4 devices in at once and control each plug. You can control from anywhere which is an added benefit. Pros Easy to use once set up Can plug 4 devices in at once Can control 4 devices via app and Google / Alexa Great for use with children Cons Not as easy to set up as you would think. Its not bad but make sure to read directions first.

> 24 hourIt would be nice if it would allow more than 6 characters for information for the 4 on off buttons but overall the functionality so far has met my expectations. Adding schedules are easy and the timing is pretty precise for on and off. If you only have a single duplex outlet this is a inexpensive way to expand you capacity. I don’t use with Alexa she listens to much about everything.

> 24 hourEDIT: In an earlier version I wrote that it only works with the Geeni App. That isnt true. For what reason ever, It worked with the Smart Life App a few days later. I received this power extender in exchange for a fair review. I appreciate the offer and I’m happy to do so. To start: This product costs $20 in October 2020. That’s for four independent switchable outlets. So no ‘always on’ ‘features’ here. Setup is easy. Geeni refers to using their own app, but after a few attempts it worked with the Smart Life app. The case itself isn’t spectacular. It’s rather cheap plastic with a glossy finish. That’s not pretty, but also not ugly. The good thing: Disassembling is easy, so spraying it is just a matter of four screws to open the case, and five to remove the electronics. The internals are not very spectacular. It’s easy to spot where each wire goes, so modifying is rather easy. Why would I want to modify it? Maybe to hard wire the outlets instead of using plugs. Or the plug itself. The board itself is very versatile and comes with the case, so that’s much better than dealing with a plain board that can be ordered from other places. I’m giving this device four stars. One star off for only working with the Geeni app. I really dislike having to use different apps to set up different devices. Other than that it’s a solid device. I took a few photos. I hope it helps to make a decision. If so, please let me know by clicking the button.

> 24 hourPurchased for two buffet lamps and it works like a charm. Over the past two years I have switched all of my timers to Geeni plugs. Makes life much easier setting the timers or turning a lamp on or off remotely.
