> 24 hourI never thought that Id use smart anything devices. However, I started using wifi plugs for security. Some allow random on/off and others just offer scheduled times. I decided to give these wifi outlets a try. They work, but Ive been having problems getting them to sync with my network, but Im hoping that it is only because they are a bit further away from my extender. Ill keep experimenting when the temperature is better.

> 24 houri really like this smart outlet. it pairs well with my Google Home. i can set timers and turn it off/on remotely (with app). The only issue i have is that after a power outage, a manual reset is required for the outlet to function. this is unfortunate, i have placed this outlet behind a very heavy piece of furniture and now have to move this item to reset the outlet after a power outage. the reset process itself is quite easy (press the button on the front of the outlet)

> 24 hourIt took a little adjusting back and forth on the Geeni and Google Home apps to get voice control to work. I am certainly not savvy at these sort of things, so if I can figure it out, it must be pretty simple.

> 24 hourWorks as intended, easy to set up. One screw lost the head just tightening it, the other one lost the tread, had to weld it. you will need a deeper box because its thicker than the regular outlet. Over all is good if you have a welder.

> 24 hourReplaced 9 outlets and it is very easy to do. Now, no more changing all of the timers around the house when the time changes twice a year.

> 24 hourOrdered several months ago and, way past the return period, finally got around to installing only to find out you can’t ground these while working with a standard size NM rework box or NM wiremold. The ground screw is too tall. Slightly lucky for me I’m working on an old work update GFCI protected circuit with out an equipment ground already, but I’ve run a ground to the new devices. This means even if some point I’m able to ground the main circuit I would have to replace the outlet again to ground it putting in extra work later. After powering the devices up and using the app they are pretty easy to connect to WiFi and they have an at least usable automations capabilities. If you want to use these like myself for controlling kids bedroom TVs, it’s possible but requires some ingenuity setting up the automations. The only really good these have going for them is how inexpensive they are.

> 24 hourI was not able to get the outlet to connect to the wifi which was about 60 away. Maybe I was too far away, but other wifi items worked just fine at the same location.

> 24 hourI have installed these products to control my Christmas Lights and other Trims. They work great and is easy to link to Google Assist. I can easily set times from the app or using Google Assist. Must have a Standard electrical Box and is NOT a Cut-In Box or it will not fit or it will be tight.
