Very easy to install

Needed appropriate lights for the opener. Ended up also replacing capacitor and logic board and now everything works.

I have a 20 year old Genie opener on our 16 ft. garage door. I was having random issues with the Safe T Beam system going out in cold weather. I replaced sensors twice with no luck solving the problem. A few years back, I had install CFL bulbs in the opener. I saw the Genie LED bulbs and read about the issues with conventional LEDs and remotes. So, I decide to get a set of the Genie LEDs and try them out. Replaced the CFLs with Genie LEDs about a month ago and have not had a problem the Safe T Beam system even on these cold frigid days when Ive left the door up for hours.

No interference with door opener and 4000k are nice and bright.

A bit pricey for a light bulb; however, its supposed to reduce the electrical interference with remote. Hard to say, but, looks like it works as advertised.

I did not know the frequency of the bulbs were in the same band as the opener. LED bulbs did not exist back in 2003 when my opener was installed. I recently lost my range and never knew why. I switched to these bulbs from standard LEDs and the door opens from the end of my driveway again.

Makes a big difference using these bulbs bs regular

The bulbs caused my keyless entry keypad not to work properly. Also affected remotes. Once I removed the LED bulb everything worked fine. Amazon did credit my account for bulbs.

Overall very bright, but sadly even with only occasional use Ive lost about 1/2 of the panels on these bulbs after 2 years. Not the lifespan I expected.
