> 3 daySo I never knew there were specific light bulbs for garage door openers. Thank goodness for Google! I was going to call a repairman! Inserted this new bulb and walla! Light!! Just put it in so don’t know about life expectancy but appears bright enough

> 3 dayThese are nice and bright in my garage door opener. I got these to reduce the interference that general purpose LED bulbs produce.

> 3 dayGenie GLEDB2-R2 Garage Door Opener LED Bulb, 5-Stars I had problems opening and closing the garage door with my Genie model 3024 at close range and even at moderate range using the remote hand openers supplied with the unit. I was using two 60watt standard LED Bulbs. I switched them with the Genie Professional line GLEDB2-R2 bulbs. I can say they work as advertised. I now have 100% attenuation from RF interference.

> 3 dayThis is a soft light. If you are looking to have bright light this wouldn’t be what you are looking for. To be fair it’s diffused by the opener plastic so that mutes the brightness. Plenty bright to see getting out of the car at night and doesn’t interfere with the opener. I will buy again without question.

> 3 dayThe only reason I bought this was because after minutes of grueling research, I found that my garage door openers had bulbs in them that interfered with my push button signal for my garage door opener. My garage door would open fine but would not close again for a while...until the bulb went out. It wasnt until about after 2 weeks that I realized thats what it was. When I found this out, watched some YouTube and boom! Found it. My bulbs were on and thats why the doors wouldnt close. The previous owner had some bulbs in there that were emitting a frequency that interfered with the signal. Changed these out with this one and everything worked like it was supposed to. Overall, I am very satisfied because my garage door opens and closes when I want, but it is also a pretty bright light. Highly recommend.

> 3 dayA little pricey, but I had the old soft white CFL lights that take 10 minutes to fully light...it was a massive improvement and the range is almost as far as I can see down the road.

> 3 dayIve been using LED light bulbs in my garage openers for a couple of years. When we bought new Liftmaster openers, the range of the remotes wasnt great. I thought that maybe our regular LED bulbs were blocking the RF signals from the remotes, so purchased these bulbs. Genie states these bulbs work in all brands of openers (as far as I know, they do). When installed, the bulbs are DIM, even though the 4000K color temperature is excellent. Theyre supposed to put out 800 lumens and equal a 60-watt incandescent in brightness. My other 60-watt LED bulbs are much brighter than these. As the remotes effective distance didnt improve, I removed the bulbs, installed 100-watt LED bulbs, and spliced more wire on the openers antennas. The remotes now work better and my garage is brighter. I believe the Genie bulbs are good quality, but the dollar per lumen output is sub-par.
