Genuine Winix 115115 Replacement Filter A for C535, 5300-2, P300, 5300, White/Black

Bottom line: This is authentic, original replacement filter. Even though I wish the prices would go down on these filter, this is my 3rd time ordering. I have really thought about ordering the after market ones because they are much cheaper, but for my health and the quality of air I breath, I will stick to these. These usually last me 10-12 months. It is amazing how incredibly dirty the filter becomes, which means it is doing its job. It gives me great joy to replace the filter with a brand new, fresh filter to keep fighting the dust fight! Like many others, I thought it didnt fit the 9500 at first. It does fit. The cartridge in the unit is a different filter pack. That can be ordered on Amazon too but it isnt required. It has washable carbon filters but last 1 year like this filter package does. Steps: 1. Take the cartridge out and set it aside. You can throw this whole thing away. 2. Put the white HEPA filter in with the arrow facing IN for airflow. 3. Put one of the 4 black carbon filters on top of the HEPA filter. 4. Replace the case. 5. Your done. In 3 months l, replace the black carbon filter. In a year buy this product again and start over. I wish this thing came with instructions.

Manufactures recommended replacement. Expensive, but so was the unit!

They work well but are more expensive than they should cost. The box was shipped inside another box. But the outside box was fine but the inside was torn ?

Exactly like the original. Well packaged, this protects the HEPA filter from any deformation.

We have the Winix air cleaner, and this are the cheapest I can find anywhere........still kind of expensive for a paper filter and some carbon coated foam filters.........these fit and filter much better than the off brands we have tried. 2-22-2014: Just purchased a Fellowes HF-300 True HEPA Filter just to see if it would fit. PERFECT, in fact it is exactly the same as the Winix filter in size, materials, and construction (both have gotta be made by the same manufacturer). Price was half of that of the Winix filter, but the Winix filter comes with 4 carbon prefitlers (which cant be purcahsed seperately). The 4 Fellowes carbon prefilters can be purchased seperately for under $12.............still almost $20 cheaper total than the Winix.

We live in an area that is dry & the wind (which in our area can whip up really fast) causes lots of grit/dust to get everywhere. I have noticed I do not have to dust as often. Which saves me time on housework. Love the time it saves me.

This item, ordered on July 5th, 2018 is the original winix replacement filter. Some reviewers have mentioned that what they received was not an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) product. This was not true for us and what we got was the original product. It is expensive, given that we paid $99 for the Winix machine and Two complete sets of filters (One set comprises a HEPA filter and 4 charcoal prefilters). The product (filters and machine) work very well and will eliminate a fair amount of dust and animal dander. We own four machines that were all purchased about 8 months ago and will probably buy a couple more on sale at the $99 price again. Got allergies/ COPD/ etc - probably a good purchase for you!

- Genuine Winix HEPA filter - Fits perfect - no foul smell - cost is too expensive (but is better than buying a fake HEPA filter replacement) Overall: These fit perfect, dont smell, work well, but the cost is pretty high for paper type products, this is not a filter for a lab filtration system, it is a simple HEPA for home filters. Cost should be way lower, considering how many of these they make and the materials costs for them, all automated manufacturing process, should be cheaper honestly. (I used to operate industrial air scrubbers for my job that used large intricate HEPA filter replacements. Those I billed insurance about $200 each one I replaced. Those $200 HEPA filters are WAY more complex than these paper filters and are for much larger more expensive machines. I dont see any reason for a high price for these simple filters, but oh well!)
