> 24 hourIf you already have Smart Life plugs or outlets, this works seamlessly with those. I did, so installation on that front was SUPER easy -- no new app to install and it found them right away. They were easy to name in the Smart Life app and with Alexa, and Alexa controls them well. You can control the whole plug (turns everything off) as well as half of the other plugs individually. So why four stars? The whole plug is designed to take up the space of a full outlet and to use a plastic nub in the second outlet in order to get more stability. Great plan, but it doesnt work. The plug rocked enough that I couldnt install it in half my outlets, because it wouldnt connect fully and would wink off more than half the time. One of my outlets (tighter than others? shaped a little differently? both!) worked, but it shouldnt be that finicky. If youre buying it for a specific outlet, Id probably stick with a traditional single plug power strip. Not only would that give you more options, it would be more likely to fit universally. If, however, you like the ability to turn off the whole plug as well as the individual plugs and you have some options for outlets, this may be just the device for you.

> 24 hourThis DOES NOT work with 5G network. They ask you to change your settings on your Internet to accommodate to 2G. Why should I change what Im paying extra for on my internet just to make this plug work? Doesnt make sense

> 24 hourI tried *so many times* to set this thing up and nothing worked. Checked my wifi (2.4GHz), got it to flash quickly as instructed, etc., etc... Nothing worked. Kept bugging out. Told me the app version was out of date when I had *just* downloaded their available app. Never was able to connect. Absolutely terrible.

> 24 hourThe app wanted access to my WiFi, location, camera, and Bluetooth before attempting to pair with my phone, so I was concerned for my privacy. Asking for access to WiFi was expected since it is app controlled, but why would it need my camera? It didnt have a QR code for scanning. Bluetooth? Im not aware of any Bluetooth features. Ultimately, it didnt find my network despite my repeated attempts. Sometimes I wonder if these devices are cheaply priced so that the manufacturer will get something more valuable from the customer: their data.

> 24 hourThe Device directions are way too confusing than they need to be. Only 3 of the 4 plugs and one usb shows up on the app

> 24 hourGot this intending to use it with a bunch of devices but the location didnt work with a power strip. You can control each of the 6 outlets with the app, so place is strategically where it makes sense. For my purposes, this ended up being too many outlets on one location. I should have gotten one with 4 or fewer outlets. Practically speaking, its hard to plug in 6 things you would want to control with Alexa, in to this 1 adapter. That said, it does work, just dont fully utilize it.

> 24 hourThe Gosund app is near impossible to re-link to Alexa if theres a problem. Also near impossible to set a password for a Gosund account. Will cause hours of frustration
