The directions tell you to download gosund and link your Alexa.. I downloaded gosund directly from the playstore. Followed the directions and tried to link. The app opens a browser and the browser says I am using an outdated version of the app, even though I just downloaded the latest available version... No way to link gosund and device to Alex. Device and product is absolutely worthless without being able to link them. I already had a surge protector.

Easy to use and setup

This is by far the easiest plug to connect to the Amazon Alexa. My old Techon plugs were giving me problems so I tried this and it did not disappoint! I use this daily for my various lights

I tried *so many times* to set this thing up and nothing worked. Checked my wifi (2.4GHz), got it to flash quickly as instructed, etc., etc... Nothing worked. Kept bugging out. Told me the app version was out of date when I had *just* downloaded their available app. Never was able to connect. Absolutely terrible.

While it took a minute to get the settings correct I gave up, finally working through the mind map of its requirements and my home wifi system I had to adjust some settings on my modem/router for it to get the signal. Once I did that it was seamless and works perfectly. The 3 USB ports were a bit hidden but also a plus, the WiFi function controls all 3 in tandem so plan for that, would be nice if they were all independent but not a deal breaker. I’ve ordered a second corded one for another setup!

It was easy to set up, and it works great with Alexa.

The product did not work. I followed all the instructions and even called my wifi provider but still did not work.
