> 3 dayIt kept going offline mood and was never been getting back online. So reset it. Try to add it up again, again, and again. After several attempted, decided to return before its too late.

Greater than one weekIt didnt sync with my home Alexa so I have to have a separate way to turn on whatever is plugged into this. I cant say Alexa turn on...I have to manually get my cell and pull up this separate app to turn whatever on and off.

> 3 dayI love that I can use Alexa to turn lights on and off now. Also that I can turn lights on from my phone app when I’m not home. Easy setup too

> 3 dayIf you already have Smart Life plugs or outlets, this works seamlessly with those. I did, so installation on that front was SUPER easy -- no new app to install and it found them right away. They were easy to name in the Smart Life app and with Alexa, and Alexa controls them well. You can control the whole plug (turns everything off) as well as half of the other plugs individually. So why four stars? The whole plug is designed to take up the space of a full outlet and to use a plastic nub in the second outlet in order to get more stability. Great plan, but it doesnt work. The plug rocked enough that I couldnt install it in half my outlets, because it wouldnt connect fully and would wink off more than half the time. One of my outlets (tighter than others? shaped a little differently? both!) worked, but it shouldnt be that finicky. If youre buying it for a specific outlet, Id probably stick with a traditional single plug power strip. Not only would that give you more options, it would be more likely to fit universally. If, however, you like the ability to turn off the whole plug as well as the individual plugs and you have some options for outlets, this may be just the device for you.

> 3 dayFirst off, I consider this device to be a potential security problem. Why would the made-in-China wall socket want access to your camera and photos? Not to mention the setup is an absolute horror. Nothing is easy. The entire account setup is wrought with difficulty. For instance, the confirm button is hidden by the keyboard. You are required to link your Alexa account with Gosund cloud. It is very difficult to find the name of the manufacturer. The instructions even fail to tell you the name of the app you need to download to set this thing up. I have set up dozens of Alexa devices without any issues. Further, you have to opt out of ads and other obtrusive items.

> 3 dayThe Device directions are way too confusing than they need to be. Only 3 of the 4 plugs and one usb shows up on the app

22-11-2024Got this intending to use it with a bunch of devices but the location didnt work with a power strip. You can control each of the 6 outlets with the app, so place is strategically where it makes sense. For my purposes, this ended up being too many outlets on one location. I should have gotten one with 4 or fewer outlets. Practically speaking, its hard to plug in 6 things you would want to control with Alexa, in to this 1 adapter. That said, it does work, just dont fully utilize it.

> 3 dayThe app is no longer available, basically just an expensive surge protector now.
