> 24 hourFirst off, I consider this device to be a potential security problem. Why would the made-in-China wall socket want access to your camera and photos? Not to mention the setup is an absolute horror. Nothing is easy. The entire account setup is wrought with difficulty. For instance, the confirm button is hidden by the keyboard. You are required to link your Alexa account with Gosund cloud. It is very difficult to find the name of the manufacturer. The instructions even fail to tell you the name of the app you need to download to set this thing up. I have set up dozens of Alexa devices without any issues. Further, you have to opt out of ads and other obtrusive items.

> 24 hourI can understand why some people are confused while setting up but I found it very clear & easy. The instructions state what app to use and that it can’t be set up on 5G Wi-Fi. I already have both regular Wi-Fi & 5G, so changed my phone settings to the regular Wi-Fi while setting up & it connected within minutes. The 3 smart USB ports & 3 smart plugs work great with my Alexa & I use the other 3 plugs for things that don’t require Alexa anyway. It took a second to figure out how to connect the app to Alexa but after that it was easy to change the names of my plugs for commands and it now works very nicely

> 24 hourMy daughter has multiple light strings and devices in her room that she wants to control independently. This sets up easy, works great with Alexa and even offers voice control for her USB powered device. Awesome product.

> 24 hourI love that I can use Alexa to turn lights on and off now. Also that I can turn lights on from my phone app when I’m not home. Easy setup too

> 24 hourI tried *so many times* to set this thing up and nothing worked. Checked my wifi (2.4GHz), got it to flash quickly as instructed, etc., etc... Nothing worked. Kept bugging out. Told me the app version was out of date when I had *just* downloaded their available app. Never was able to connect. Absolutely terrible.

> 24 hourDifficult to set up the device to our home network. Since it cannot connect to our home network it does not have any use to us outside being an outlet. Will not buy another one and will probably return this of able.

> 24 hourIt kept going offline mood and was never been getting back online. So reset it. Try to add it up again, again, and again. After several attempted, decided to return before its too late.

> 24 hourIt would appear that the manufacture updated the description after I purchased the device and after someone posted their first review, negatively reflecting my next point. The original description didnt mention that all of the USB ports are controlled together by one button. I still look forward to using this product, and it appears well built and functional. If it performs well over time I will up the stars.
