Hakko FX601-02 Adjustable Temperature Controlled Soldering Iron, 67 Watts

The iron is very, very good. The power cord is a disaster. The power cord is very stiff and takes away the joy of using the very good iron. There is no excuse why Hakko cannot supply a nice highly flexible cord with this iron. My Weller iron has a nice cord and it a pleasure to use. Hakko - put on a good cord and have a really nice product. Dont need a cord like was be on a circular saw!!

great temp, balance and comfort

This iron is a game changer. I have been doing stained glass for 10 years now. I have always struggled with my soldering. I used this iron for the first time and my soldering was PERFECT! Its the only iron I ever want to use!

Nice soldering iron! I bought it for stained glass work and was not disappointed. Quick to heat up and a responsive temp control means I didnt have to run it through an external controller. Its nicely balanced and light weight as well. Only ding I can give it is that the temp control dial is small ana a little hard to adjust. They give you a little tool for that but Ive already lost it...oh well. Still highly recommended.

Excellent soldering iron..Replaced itself....I had the other one for at least 15 years and I solder almost every day.....
