This is the second one I bought that doesnt hold heat and less than one month old. Hakko is great about repairs but Im without a soldering iron in the meantime.

I didnt expect this to work as well as it does.

Love this for my stained glass work. Lighter weight than other soldering irons, especially important for my previously injured wrist. Quickly heats to set temperature, so no waiting time. Only drawback is - must unplug to turn off - have solved this by attaching to a power strip with an off switch.

Used twice and worked great. Did not use for awhile and would not heat when turned on. Waste of money. Only got a couple of uses.

Great iron for stained glass.
