After struggling with a junky radio shack soldering iron, I figured Id step up. This item is amazing. The tips are so nice and last such a long time. I run it at 750F and it does a quick and clean jog.

Best purchase Ive made in a LONG time! Gets hot quickly, cools down quickly, seems to be really well made and is easy to use. I dont really know what else to say. If you need a really good soldering station, but dont want to buy a commercial grade setup, this is the one!

Great soldering iron. It heats very fast and works great. I was using a borrowed iron that was high end, but older and discontinued so I could not buy new tips for it. I decided to buy this one and have been very happy with it. Ive used it a ton over the past 3 weeks making soldered Christmas ornaments and it has worked flawlessly.

Quick temp changes, up and down. Assorted tips, already included was nice to already have and not to have to buy extra.

Best bang for the buck out there from a quality brand. The temp controls are a bit cumbersome, but this is a good solid iron.

This is an outstanding soldering station. Nothing in this price range can touch it for value and performance. I use it primarily for model railroading but it is equally well suited to electronics soldering. The variety of tips provides an unusual range of flexibility. The ability to dial in your desired tip temperature is a huge time and cost saver. No more botched soldering jobs and damaged items from a too low or too high temperature. I would definitely recommend this to anyone needing a soldering station or desiring to upgrade from a standard soldering iron.
