> 3 dayI have wanted to get an adjustable soldering station for a very long time. There are so many out there, I had no clue what to choose. One on my high school friends does this kind of stuff for a living and he offered some advice for what to choose. This was his 2nd from the cheapest pick. I am super happy with the performance, ease of use, quick to heat up. Does exactly what I wanted it to do. If you are just a hobbyist looking for something that works well. This is it.

> 3 dayThe system has been good for 4 uses over 6 months and then the power switch stuck in the on position. It was not abused in any fashion as I am a technical representative for a very prestigious aviation company using the equipment for basic wire/ terminal soldering. I cannot find contact links/ numbers to reach out for repair assistance.

> 3 dayI had no idea what a good station to do. I should not have waited and if youre in the market for a good soldering iron this station is well worth the money to have something you can depend on. No its not the ruggedest one out there or built like a tank like the old ones were. However this does do its job exceedingly well and simplify your work that needs to be done. Coming from any old Rat Shack iron to this was an eye opener. Having the luxury of switching tips for specific jobs helps immensely and is far easier than I was expecting.

> 3 daygood temp rebound, feels good in hand while working. *read the directions or you will change the calibration rather than the temp on the unit.* Has some preset temps and is full adjustable outside of those temps, and the presets can also be changed. *read the directions or you will change the calibration rather than the temp on the unit*

> 3 dayIf you value your time and the equipment you are working on then you deserve a good soldering station. After you use this station you will regret all your time and effort wasted using cheaper and under powered irons. The temperature climbs like a rocket and holds. No issues of a iron going cold after the first touch. Its ergonomic and robust. Dont hesitate you wont have buyers remorse. Just the satisfaction of clean joints with minimum heat soak.

> 3 daySince my previous review was rejected by a robot that doesnt understand slang superlatives let me try this again: I owned one if those orange Weller units for years, this *edit* is far superior *end edit*. The only knock on it is the toy-like color scheme, which I addressed with a custom cut vinyl sticker. Some Kester 63/37 solder and this unit and you cover a lot of soldering...
