Confirming that this is a genuine. This package also came with a lot of accessories: extra soldering tips and cleaning wire. Be sure to read the instructions so that you know how to set the temperature correctly. Once set, the station heats up in a reasonable time (less than 30 seconds). The station which contains both the cleaning wire, sponge, and soldering iron holder makes it convenient to do quick jobs.

Awesome iron for the price.

First time using a Hakko solder, I was impressed with how quickly it heats up. The plethora of soldering heads is a nice option to get the right solder head for the job. Very satisfied.

If you value your time and the equipment you are working on then you deserve a good soldering station. After you use this station you will regret all your time and effort wasted using cheaper and under powered irons. The temperature climbs like a rocket and holds. No issues of a iron going cold after the first touch. Its ergonomic and robust. Dont hesitate you wont have buyers remorse. Just the satisfaction of clean joints with minimum heat soak.

Used numerous types of irons over the years as a hobbyist but never had the opportunity to use a professional grade iron. I really wish I would have spent the money sooner. All my life Ive used the cheaper Weller irons--I burned a PCB while trying to solder some very small and delicate parts. This led me to purchase this highly upgraded soldering iron which made soldering the small parts a wonderful experience. It heats up quick, maintains its temperature, and has every adapter tip you can think of.
