Greater than one weekDespite assurances that this is a sticky product we have found other adhesive tapes that stick better and provide better support.

Greater than one weekI’m not allergic to latex and I typically don’t have problems with bandaids or adhesives, but this tape gave me a skin rash after a couple days of use. It holds well in terms of adhesive strength but the resulting rash and itching are not worth it. I’ll have to find some non-skin application for the remaining tape bc this is not worth it for me.

> 3 dayTape is by far the best Ive used and leaves no sticky residue on your skin.

> 3 dayIf youre thinking about using this for climbing dont bother. It sticks to the finger fine initially but has far less grip to it than Leukotape or Johnson & Johnson sport tape. If youre taping because your skin is beat then you want all the friction you can get and this simply doesnt provide it.

18-11-2024My daughter’s ankle is prone to injury, so she applies this tape before every practice/scrimmage/game as insurance against problems. This specific brand was recommended to us by a hardcore female gymnast who, by her words, “has tried them all.” While waiting for the tape to arrive for the first time, we picked up another product off-the-shelf at Walmart. That stuff did not stay in place, and my daughter ended up taking it off at halftime. On the other hand, she has now been using this tape about 20 different sporting events and it has never failed her. It goes on easily, stays perfectly in place, provides stability, and comes off easily and cleanly. What more could you want? One recommendation: This has nothing to do with this specific product, but if you are not sure quite how to apply tape for your specific injury or issue, go to YouTube and look it up. They methodology of applying the tape properly is even more important than the tape itself.

> 3 dayThis tape is awesome. I ‘sprained’ my ankle. Actually, X-ray showed that I had an avulsion fracture which occurs when the tendon or ligament pulls off a piece of the bone. I used to train for the Olympics, in gymnastics. I definitely have experience taping injuries. When this happened I had a hard time finding good tape. Most were just difficult to use; stuck to wrong areas during taping, causing ridges instead of smooth taping. Or the tape wouldn’t be adhesive, etc. I also hurt my big toe @ the same time and believe me it is VERY challenging to tape a toe for good support. This is professional tape & I am able to tear narrow strips off the tape for smaller areas. *see example in my review picture

> 3 daySo, it definitely doesnt get too stuck on you, but the down side is that I think its not quite sticky enough to do what most people use athletic tape for - holding the skin for pain relief. It will come off way too easy if you try to tape a bit of skin with it. If you just want to tape something together without the tape sticking permanently, but want something tougher than scotch tape, this is pretty good. I just cant really use it for athletic tape because it doesnt hold to skin very well.
