Great quality for the price, it’s super difficult finding a humidifier that is completely open and easy to clean like this one, other ones have tubes, and corners where mold is going to grow no matter what so it’s nice that this one doesn’t have that. Haven’t tried adding essential oils to tray as I don’t plan to use it as a diffuser but I’m sure it works great. Refill is also really nice as you can just top up the tank by pouring in a cup or water rather than having to bring the entire machine over to the sink. Overall one of the best humidifiers I’ve had

This cool mist humidifier is amazing. It is very easy to setup and operate. It is easy to clean also. It works better than the other humidifiers that i have tried so i would definitely recommend this product.

This humidifier is very beautiful and has beautiful colors. When I took it out of the box, I was surprised to find such a soft-looking humidifier. Assembly was very easy and straight-forward. This humidifiers water tank is at the bottom. The vaporizer is connected to the water tank through its cap. Cap has all the controls for operating it and are at the very top. Water filling is by removing the top cap and you can directly fill water in it. It is sort of like a bucket without handles. There are clear markings on the water tank to warn about the maximum water height. The feature I havent used so far is the aroma box, where you can put drops of perfume and it will add aroma to the mist - it seems Overall this humidifier is very easy to use and good. Giving it a 5-star. Thanks for reading

-UPDATE: Easily, the best feature of this purchase is Homvanas superb customer service. The customer service representative was polite, persistent and went out of her way to ensure customer satisfaction. While I did not enjoy this particular unit, I recommend that you check out the newer model of this product. I decided to try this unit because it had a number of features I am looking for in a humidifier. The Pros: -Easy to use; setup was a breeze, just fill it up and plug in. I read the instruction manual, but I like when buttons are intuitive right out of the box. -Fill up is a breeze, you can pour water into the top drain without moving anything (about a drinking glass at a time because it needs to time to drain), or you can remove the entire top if filling with a pitcher but note that the top unit can secrete quite a bit of water if removed for even just a few seconds; I just turn the top perpendicularly and rest it on the rim during the refill process so the inner column can simply leak into the unit. Another reviewer cautioned that the power supply might be difficult to replace but the benefit is that it can be detached easily from the back of the machine, so if you bring the machine to a sink to refill or clean, you dont have to deal with a dangling power cord. No handles to facilitate carrying but the unit is easy enough to grip and carry, even full of water (i tried several different room positions at first and moved it around with ease). -No filter to replace! There is a spongy filter for the small aroma tray that pulls out but I am personally not interested in that feature. -I like the sleek, compact design and even with opaque sides it is perfectly easy to see how much water remains in the tank. -I love that it has a small footprint despite having a larger water tank capacity. I can put this on my small beside table and it takes up surprisingly little space. -The base is one single bucket-like unit so it would be difficult to imagine how it could ever leak. Other points: -This machine is quiet; as mentioned, i have this on my bedside table where I sleep and if I concentrate, I can detect the machine operating but it is not enough to keep me awake. I have a water cooler, mini fridge and a fan in the room and it is certainly not any louder than those appliances. -LED lights, while I think this is a positive feature, there would have been nice if there was a way to increase or decrease the intensity because its not enough for ambient lighting in the evening and it might be too bright for some if kept next to where you sleep. Light can easily be switched or toggled on and off with multiple presses of a single button. The machine looks quite nice illuminated. -Accurate hygrometer; I purchased a separate one when purchasing this unit to measure humidity throughout the apartment and currently they are right next to each other with only a single degree of difference... The cons: ... but this brings me to the biggest drawback which is that this unit is just not that powerful. I have a small to medium sized bedroom and after running the unit on its max setting for 24 hours with the door closed, it only managed to raise humidity from 22 to 27 degrees. After four days of blasting it at max power , I am currently sitting at 33 degrees and it doesnt seem to go any higher. Unfortunately, this drops off considerably even just a few feet away from the machine. My old clunker of a humidifier is a bottom-filling, leaky mess that I bought in 2014 and it does a much better job than this brand new unit :( -No backlit buttons. While the interface is easy to use, the glow of the machine is not sufficient to see the buttons which are also completely flat so you cant feel them either making it more difficult to change settings in low to no light. -Display is situated on the top of the machine which means getting a reading from across the room (e.g. humidity level, remaining cycle time, auto mode/level) may be hard at a glance. -No remote control/app; personally I am fed up with remote controls because I have a Dyson fan, mood light, A/C unit all with remotes and it is nice to not have to deal with another one but I know other people may feel differently. Summary: I really wanted to love this machine, especially at its current price point but despite a number of great features such as an attractive design, ease of use/refill, large water capacity, LED lights, quiet operation, etc. it fails in its main objective to significantly change air humidity. I am currently looking for another alternative and will be returning this unit soon.

We have used humidifiers in all our kids rooms since they were babies. The last time we purchased a humidifier was 4 years ago. This is a pretty good upgrade in these last few years. From what I know, humidifiers were previously made with a bottom fill, so they were really difficult to clean properly. When our old humidifier for my son was dying, we were looking at getting a top fill to replace it for ease of clean. This is such a great model! It is a top fill, but not only that, the part you would fill in the sink is completely separate from the motor. So when you fill this container, theres no chance of getting water in the motor. It also will be incredibly easy to clean and keep free of mold. It has a great output, definitely think I will want to use manual mist as it can definitely put out a lot. My only qualm would be with the light feature. My son already uses a blue nightlight in his room, so I thought this might be able to replace that; but from what I can tell, the light only has the option to cycle through colors and cant be stationary on one. I just turned that feature off. Im excited to try the aroma tray, too, as adding some eucalyptus during the winter months helps with the airways.

This is a solid humidifier, works very well as a humidifier with features like LED lighting, minimum humidity auto on/off, and is very easy to refill with a top fill source, The lid does need somewhere to rest as it will drip but there is a slow pour area on the top of the humidifier, no need to take off the lid. No need to bring the wet reservoir to a different room, just pour it into the container! But there are also multiple flaws. Ive lived most of my life with a humidifier in the winter because, also living in an apartment, humidity in the winter is dry, easily down to 15-20% constantly. The refill contrainer is large, 5L, which lasts two half days when using during sleeping time, about 8 hours from 10pm to 6am, at a constant 50% RH. Sometimes I top up the humidifier during the day on break, just because and its so much easier then taking the whole tank dripping all over the place to the sink. One aspect I dislike is the touch controls. My other air humidifier is the same design but a dial. This makes using really easy, turn and thats it. Not tapping, no making sure the buttons are pressed. As well, you cant add a smart plug to this so you can schedule when the humidifier turns on and off by itself. With a dial, you can preset it, with this, the smart plug just powers it but does not turn it on. The included remote makes it easier, though its just a small item for me to loose somewhere eventually.

I use this in my bedroom every night during the heating season. It really helps with reducing dry sinuses while sleeping. Using soft water nearly eliminates having to clean the unit. I’ve been using this for two months now and haven’t had to clean it yet. It will run on high for about 12 hours on a single fill. Filling from the top takes is slow and takes too long. Recommend turning off unit, raise the lid and fill much faster pouring directly into the tank.

The Homvana 5L Top Fill Humidifier is attractive, quiet and has some great features. It comes neatly and securely packaged in a small box with some foam to prevent any damage during shipping. I really like the look of this unit. It has a large transparent water tank so I can see how much water is left inside. The small round LCD screen is pretty attractive and displays all the important information in large, visible fonts. At the same time, the unit is really effective in increasing the humidity in my medium-sized living room. It has an auto mode that will turn the machine on and off the reach the desired humidity and preserve more water. The mist is fine and hasnt been leaving any white residue on my wooden floors. I really like the top-fill design as well. Its very convenient to refill it thanks to the wide tank, so Im not spilling out any water. The 5 Litre capacity is generous and lasts for 2 days in a medium setting. The machine is very quiet, but there are occasional water splash noises which may be distracting for some in a bedroom. The essential oil tray and the light colours are a nice bonus. Overall, this is an effective and versatile humidifier at a reasonable price. Full marks from me!
