> 3 dayGreat quality for the price, it’s super difficult finding a humidifier that is completely open and easy to clean like this one, other ones have tubes, and corners where mold is going to grow no matter what so it’s nice that this one doesn’t have that. Haven’t tried adding essential oils to tray as I don’t plan to use it as a diffuser but I’m sure it works great. Refill is also really nice as you can just top up the tank by pouring in a cup or water rather than having to bring the entire machine over to the sink. Overall one of the best humidifiers I’ve had

> 3 dayThis actually works really well. I was impressed with how sturdy it is and its also quite quiet. My son is able to sleep with it running with no issues.

> 3 dayI like the design of this humidifier, and its super quiet and easy to use. Okay for a very small bedroom with the door closed, but no good for anything bigger. My bedroom is only about 65ft2/6m2 and I was only able to get the humidity to 40% after a night of running it on high. In the rest of the condo (with the doors to washroom, bedroom, and laundry closed) I cant get humidity any higher than 20% as measured by the machine. I believe the lowest it goes is 20%, because my standalone hygrometer shows markedly lower than that. Without any added moisture, my condo goes as low as 10% humidity but usually sits at 15% on my hygrometer. Its not listed here anywhere, but on the box it lists the coverage as 323 ft2/30 m2--I highly doubt this claim, but its definitely not enough for my situation (my condo is a total of 560 ft2 but this includes all rooms). I also noticed fine white dust around where I situated the humidifier, but my water does run a little hard and I didnt use purified or filtered water--its just not practical to put 5L of that into this machine every day and a half or so, since I have to run it on high constantly. The tank is also a little cumbersome to move after its been filled, since theres no handle but its not impossible. The cleaning is not too bad since the atomizer has a cover you can remove, plus the tank itself is very good. Its just a shame that its not powerful enough for me. ------------------------------------ The above is the original 3 star review for the humidifier, and I stand by it. I have, however, upgraded my overall review to 4 star because the Homvana customer service is 5 star. They contacted me after seeing my review and offered to send their warm/cool mist humidifier that cover 800 sq ft for free, which came quickly and works better. I ran both humidifiers and was able to get my humidity to a comfy 35% after half a day. For full transparency, I will say that they did also ask for a rating upgrade, but I appreciate the service enough that I was willing to do so. For what its worth, if your air is really dry and you have a medium area youre trying to humidifier, the warm/cool model does make a much more noticeable difference. That one uses far more electricity and is a lot more difficult to fill and clean though, so if youre looking to add just a bit more moisture to a small space, this model is alright.

> 3 dayThis is a humidifier that is easy to refill as it has an area on top that you can pour water into INDSTEAD of taking full head off. The size is for 5 lires of water and has a maximum running time of 40hrs.There is led lighting mode and space for essential oils so can be used for aromatherapy. I find it to be quiet enough. The control functions are easy to use and located right on top. I find it to be super light when carrying from room to room. Does add moisture to room and helps a bit for my skin to be not so dry. I think its well thought out. Good size and looks nice plu easy set up which I appreciated. I hope this may help.

> 3 dayHumidifiers are something I use but they always end up being hard to clean so they get thrown away and I buy a new one. I just bought this because my entire house is sick and the dry air is making it worse. This humidifier is so easy to use. I love the colors. I love that it’s a top fill, it’s not messy. It’s relatively quiet but I don’t mind the little noise it does make. It’ll run all night on the highest setting without running out of water. It’s the best humidifier I’ve owned.

> 3 dayThis one checked all the boxes for me, good mist/humidity output, timer, sleep mode, light, top fill, and easy to clean! You really can’t ask for more and even better as all of these features are easy to use. Instruction manual provided throughout and clear instructions on each feature. Includes a cleaning brush, two extra/back up felt patches for essential oil drops (these can be washed and reused!) and a adhesive wall hook for the cord. Has three mist levels, high-med-low which has humidity level outputs as high <43%, med 43-%-62-%, low >62-%. Low was comfortable overnight in bedroom, the essential oil pad is nice pops right out, 3 drops of oil was the perfect amount for me with a full tank. Top easily detaches for super easy cleaning or filling, additionally can be filled at top without disassembling. Auto feature is handy also holding a steady 60% humidity. Very very pleased and fairly priced compared to name brands that have less features.

> 3 dayThis humidifier worked very well for the first two months. I liked the color light option, the ease of filling and cleaning and the mist was very good. Then it suddenly began to turn itself off and the red light came on that there was insufficient water although the tank was appropriately filled. Very disappointing. As an addendum to my earlier review, I want to add that Homvana sent me a replacement humidifier without my requesting one. So as far as the companys integrity, I am revising my initial rating to reflect their outstanding customer service.

> 3 dayLike many people that need to heat their homes, the heat combined with the dry winter air leads to fairly low humidity indoors. My thermometer/hydrometer shows a humidity level of around 20-25% without any help, which is quite a bit lower than recommended (which is around 30-40%). I have used several humidifiers in the past, of all different types, but theyve generally all had water reservoirs that were difficult to clean, other parts/mechanisms that were difficult to clean, or filters that were expensive and needed constant replacing. These are not random humidifiers either, but ones recommended by pretty trustworthy sites! Anyway onto this Homvana humidifier. This is an ultrasonic, cool mist humidifier, so theres basically a vibrating pad that generates a mist. Unlike steaming units, the mist is cool so theres no burn danger. It has a nozzle on top that you can rotate to slightly affect the direction of the mist, but it does basically go straight up. In terms of effectiveness, I am using this in my living room which is about 200 sq ft, though attached to a hallway (though my home is only like 700 sq ft in total, so not huge). After running it for about 12 hours, it brought the humidity up from 26% to 35%, about 10%. Ive only been using it for less than a day, so I will update after Ive used it for a few days, but the output may be suited only to smaller rooms like a bedroom. This Homvana humidifier is pretty easy to clean. All the electronic parts are in the top; the base is just a big container for the water. No tiny openings, no hard corners, so its very easy to clean. The instructions indicate that the only thing to clean in the top part is the ultrasonic part at the bottom of the stem. Theres an opening so you can refill the water without needing to take off the top, though if you have a lot of water to refill its easier to just open it and fill it up, though youll have to find a place to put the top part down while you refill the bottom water reservoir. Ill report after a month or so what kind of gunk builds up inside using purified water (run through a water filter). Note that the power cord plugs into the top part, so its a little unsightly. In terms of features, this covers all the basics -- you get 3 different levels of output, a sleep timer, and an auto mode that tries to keep the humidity level around 60%. This does also report the humidity level and its pretty close to my thermometer/hydrometer. This has a light that is fairly soft and could be used as a night light; theres several colors that you can cycle through. So far, while the output seems a bit less than claimed, it is shaping up to be a good humidifier -- Ill update my review in a month or so to reflect how easy or not it is to clean and keep running.
