> 3 dayThis one checked all the boxes for me, good mist/humidity output, timer, sleep mode, light, top fill, and easy to clean! You really can’t ask for more and even better as all of these features are easy to use. Instruction manual provided throughout and clear instructions on each feature. Includes a cleaning brush, two extra/back up felt patches for essential oil drops (these can be washed and reused!) and a adhesive wall hook for the cord. Has three mist levels, high-med-low which has humidity level outputs as high <43%, med 43-%-62-%, low >62-%. Low was comfortable overnight in bedroom, the essential oil pad is nice pops right out, 3 drops of oil was the perfect amount for me with a full tank. Top easily detaches for super easy cleaning or filling, additionally can be filled at top without disassembling. Auto feature is handy also holding a steady 60% humidity. Very very pleased and fairly priced compared to name brands that have less features.

> 3 day-UPDATE: Easily, the best feature of this purchase is Homvanas superb customer service. The customer service representative was polite, persistent and went out of her way to ensure customer satisfaction. While I did not enjoy this particular unit, I recommend that you check out the newer model of this product. I decided to try this unit because it had a number of features I am looking for in a humidifier. The Pros: -Easy to use; setup was a breeze, just fill it up and plug in. I read the instruction manual, but I like when buttons are intuitive right out of the box. -Fill up is a breeze, you can pour water into the top drain without moving anything (about a drinking glass at a time because it needs to time to drain), or you can remove the entire top if filling with a pitcher but note that the top unit can secrete quite a bit of water if removed for even just a few seconds; I just turn the top perpendicularly and rest it on the rim during the refill process so the inner column can simply leak into the unit. Another reviewer cautioned that the power supply might be difficult to replace but the benefit is that it can be detached easily from the back of the machine, so if you bring the machine to a sink to refill or clean, you dont have to deal with a dangling power cord. No handles to facilitate carrying but the unit is easy enough to grip and carry, even full of water (i tried several different room positions at first and moved it around with ease). -No filter to replace! There is a spongy filter for the small aroma tray that pulls out but I am personally not interested in that feature. -I like the sleek, compact design and even with opaque sides it is perfectly easy to see how much water remains in the tank. -I love that it has a small footprint despite having a larger water tank capacity. I can put this on my small beside table and it takes up surprisingly little space. -The base is one single bucket-like unit so it would be difficult to imagine how it could ever leak. Other points: -This machine is quiet; as mentioned, i have this on my bedside table where I sleep and if I concentrate, I can detect the machine operating but it is not enough to keep me awake. I have a water cooler, mini fridge and a fan in the room and it is certainly not any louder than those appliances. -LED lights, while I think this is a positive feature, there would have been nice if there was a way to increase or decrease the intensity because its not enough for ambient lighting in the evening and it might be too bright for some if kept next to where you sleep. Light can easily be switched or toggled on and off with multiple presses of a single button. The machine looks quite nice illuminated. -Accurate hygrometer; I purchased a separate one when purchasing this unit to measure humidity throughout the apartment and currently they are right next to each other with only a single degree of difference... The cons: ... but this brings me to the biggest drawback which is that this unit is just not that powerful. I have a small to medium sized bedroom and after running the unit on its max setting for 24 hours with the door closed, it only managed to raise humidity from 22 to 27 degrees. After four days of blasting it at max power , I am currently sitting at 33 degrees and it doesnt seem to go any higher. Unfortunately, this drops off considerably even just a few feet away from the machine. My old clunker of a humidifier is a bottom-filling, leaky mess that I bought in 2014 and it does a much better job than this brand new unit :( -No backlit buttons. While the interface is easy to use, the glow of the machine is not sufficient to see the buttons which are also completely flat so you cant feel them either making it more difficult to change settings in low to no light. -Display is situated on the top of the machine which means getting a reading from across the room (e.g. humidity level, remaining cycle time, auto mode/level) may be hard at a glance. -No remote control/app; personally I am fed up with remote controls because I have a Dyson fan, mood light, A/C unit all with remotes and it is nice to not have to deal with another one but I know other people may feel differently. Summary: I really wanted to love this machine, especially at its current price point but despite a number of great features such as an attractive design, ease of use/refill, large water capacity, LED lights, quiet operation, etc. it fails in its main objective to significantly change air humidity. I am currently looking for another alternative and will be returning this unit soon.

> 3 dayThis this is just a basic humidifier it work really well with out any essential oils. The concept of the essential oil doesn’t work well at all, you don’t add the oil to the water like others I used. For this humidifier you have a slot at the back of the machine you pull out and add the oil to a foam piece. It doesn’t work well at you can’t even smell your essential oils, so if your looking for one for this main reason this will not work for you.

> 3 dayGood sized humidifier for a small to medium sized room. It’s easier to fill the tank directly and once full it lasts for quite a while. Noise level is okay as it isn’t fully silent but doesn’t make much noise while it’s in use. It also has space for essential oils at the top.

> 3 dayRight when I took this out of the box, I noticed how well made this is. Its a high quality plastic that composes this humidifier (some of them feel plasticky - this one, less so). This has some really nice features! We like how you can change the light color by toggling through the button. The light isnt too bright, which makes it perfect for nighttime - you can also toggle the light off. We tested the auto-shut-off and it worked just like it should. Its convenient to be able to direct the humidity in two directions, instead of just one. You can set the humidifer to auto mode, or toggle through 3 different levels of mist. And being able to fill this from the top?! Its a game changer for people who might struggle with flipping the bottom-loading style upside down. This reservoir is really easy to fill and put back into place without spilling water or twisting your wrist. This humidifier gurgles when it starts up, and then occasionally will lightly gurgle while its in use. The machine itself is next to silent other than this. If you use a white noise machine or are used to a humidifier in your room, the occasional light gurgle probably wont bother you. Because weve used other humidifiers that dont gurgle (at all), we knocked one star off specifically for this. Overall, were impressed and hope this humidifier lasts more than one year!

23-11-2024Sorry for the color quality on the pictures. It does rotate through all the 8 colors shown above. There are no buttons that you can feel. Its touch sensitive. I used oils on the first time, and it did really well. I like the fact that it shows you what the current humidity level is in your room. Very quiet and 3 settings for the amount of moisture you prefer. A sleep timer and also an hour timer. So, you can program it to run for a certain number of hours and then it shuts off.

> 3 dayIt replaced an aged humidifier that was hard to keep clean and did not do much to raise humidity. This device is easy to and feature rich.

> 3 dayCurrent price point at the time/date of this review: $89.99 with a $15 off coupon currently being provided by the seller at this time. Yep, net pricing is quite decent where it stands. I do like that the overall appearance gives you the impression of a minimal looking design, but upon closer inspection you get all the bells and whistles commonly (but not always) available on a more advanced unit such as this unit. Works great overall and for a 5L capacity unit it’s perfectly well priced especially given the inclusion of a coupon at this time. Setup is quite simple and easy to use, much like all the other humidifiers out on the market today. So don’t feel intimidated. Familiarity breeds contempt, but in a good way. The digital readout is nice to have and it comes with all the controls and buttons for an expanded experience. Again, don’t get too intimidated by it, it’s still just a humidifier.
