> 24 hourFound it fairly simple to put the fan together. The instructions were pretty good. Since this wasnt my first fan to assemble, I kind of knew how to do what. A bit odd that one part tightens clockwise, the other counterclockwise, but since they at least tell you that, and if you follow what they say, youll be fine. However, what they failed to mention which might drive some people around the bend is that theres a part that MUST BE REMOVED FIRST before putting on the rear grille (aka fan blade protector). Photo attached. It comes placed IN the holes of the rear grille and you have to remove it before you can fit the grille onto the pins. It looks like it should attach to the shaft itself in some way but trust me, it doesnt. I found that by slightly bending in each point of the triangle, you can unhook it from the grille and remove it. Another thing that might have helped would have been to explain which way the blades go. That is, which side faces front and which faces the rear. Its pretty obvious, but did give me pause. And for people with no mechanical ability, lets just say it might be challenging. One other thing I might mention: When I assembled it, the front of the fan was not facing the same direction as the controls. It was about 40 degrees swiveled to the right. With my other fans I can just pull up the little knob on top and swivel the blades left or right at will. But I wasnt sure I should do that in this case (since there was no such knob) and so I called customer service. The robot answers with Helen of Troy then mentions another company with no mention of Honeywell, and so I wasnt sure if I had been given the right number, but it IS the right number. So dont be as confused as I was. And the customer service person couldnt have been nicer! She told me NOT to try to swivel the fan by hand, but to turn it on, put it on oscillation and stop it at the point where its lined up with the control panel. Have only had the thing about a minute so cant speak too much on that front. But it was really nice and quiet! Will report back if I have any problems. ================ Reporting back in a/o 9/21/21. The variable wind feature doesnt seem to work correctly on mine. It slows to a COMPLETE stop and then starts back up again. I dont think this is the way its support to act. And its a rather absurd feature to my mind. So Ive lowed my star rating. Its also not as powerful as my old 14 metal non telescoping fan.

> 24 hourso far, its a better fan than my last one! Lets hope it lasts longer! Its got a strong wind but not too loud, the fan cover is all metal which means it wont snap easily. Lost 1 star for construction and the remote control. Mostly, it was easy to put together with all parts in situ and no tools needed--which is great--but there are no instructions on how to put the head assembly into the extension pole (I eventually found a youtube video). The remote control has symbols Ive never seen before and its hard to figure out. I only recognized the on-off button. Im gonna have to label it.

> 24 hourI was given this fan as a birthday gift, and that one appeared broken. The head of the fan was tilted and couldnt be straightened. Also, the extension pole was missing. Rather than contacting my sister in law who bought it and go through the hassle of returning it, I decided to just buy one myself. Well, this one has the exact same problems. I specifically wanted this fan, among other reasons, BECAUSE it could be raised to just the right height to blow on me when Im in bed. Thats impossible though without the extension pole. This fan may work if it has all the parts, but I dont know. They quality control of the company obviously leaves a lot to be desired. This has been a big disappointment along with a waste of money. Edit: Apparently, the extension pole is INSIDE the other pole. Nowhere in the directions does it tell you this. I loosened the screw at the bottom of the fan head and was able to tilt it. I now have the fan working and it seems to work well. However, the directions for the fan leave MUCH to be desired. Although this fan is actually easy to put together, once you figure it out, the directions are not very clear. Also, it should tell you how to find the extension pole. I have a feeling that is the same problem everyone else who said theres had no extension pole had. They probably have one, but dont know to look in the other pole. Once you get this put together, it seems to be a good fan. But good luck figuring out how to put it together.

> 24 hourIt wasnt the easiest to put together, but it wasnt terrible either. It works very well. I love the remote features. Makes it super easy to make changes without getting out of bed. Lol.

> 24 hourI’m commenting on the Honeywell fan that I bought last year. It’s quiet, seems reliable but it’s failing as it doesn’t push much air so it’s a nice idea maybe for the bedroom light is not going to do anything to clear a room or to circulate a good amount of air I’ve been quite a bit of money for it so I’m disappointed by that. As well constructed with great metal grates in the front and the back which make it much easier to deal with dust and hair plastic fans make a messand I’m constantly having to clean them, so I only buy metal grated fans now. Good thing about this Spanish you can set a time on right on the physical unit from 14 or eight hours and I check them periodically. If the unit gets warm I shut it off and give it a rest. With the heat we’ve been having I am now working with five or six fans throughout the house. Trying to find a strong fan that is safe, Stable and can be left on for a while with me not in the room. That’s what has to be, given our warming environment, It’s a nice looking fan and I wish they gave it a little bit more power that would make it perfect I hope the engineers will do that we need it and we don’t have a lot of Safe fans that will last I’m hoping to swell but as I said it doesn’t cool very well.

> 24 hourI use these fans daily. One is in my room to circulate the air and it does a great job at pushing air at low noise., the remote is easy to use and has great signal strength so you can use it at a distance. This was easy to assemble and a must to keep my room nice and cool, highly recommend

> 24 hourGood Product. Honey Well obviously is a well known brand for their Fans and Heaters. I got the Black color, looks good and goes well with my bedroom interior. Just not too happy with the 3 Breeze Options. Not sad either, but just not how I expected it would be. The noice levels vary a lot when you use the Breeze options. Not too loud but not constant noise level with Breeze, which is the reason I don’t prefer using that option. But the 3 speed options serves my purpose. Remote control is great. Don’t go for any of those cheap brands available out there. You might think this is a bit more $$ than others but I would say it is worth the price when you compare the Quality and not just the cost.

> 24 hourHad this fan for a couple of months and it is still running great. The remote control works flawlessly and very convenient. Didnt think I needed to remote but now I cant live without it!
