Greater than one weekHard to set up. Unnecessary pieces to it that threw me off like I was trying to figure out where it went but it ended up being unnecessary I guess there just to hold stuff together than when assembling your product you take the piece off than throw it away. It was only for transport of the item. Im more of a visual person so I followed the photo more. Other than that great fan. Has a timer and a wind speed itll speed up than slow down setting choice. Highly recommend this fan. Only down side is the blue light does not go off at night. It is very bright and hard to sleep with the bright light shining up part of your room. The only thing I suggest is tie a shirt around it or sumthin. If you know you dont need to change any setting on it with the remote. What I do is actually move the neck of the fan and just have the fan blowing towards me while the neck with panel is away from me to block the light as much as I can, if that makes sense.

> 3 dayIt took longer to unpackage it than to put it together. Five minutes without instructions. 3 speeds. Low puts out what feels like the equivalent to high on my old tower fan and is what I would consider to be very quiet. I would describe the high setting as almost ridiculous for a fan of this size and surprisingly quiet for the amount of air it’s pulling through it. Really impressive wind to noise ratio. Nowhere near as loud as my last box fan and pretty close to the same output. Anyone who says this fan is too weak for a bedroom should be looking at wind tunnels and not budget room fans. The 3 modes are steady state, breezy, and variable (night). Breezy runs pretty strong and simulates a gusting breeze. The night setting seems very similar but with a wider spread between high and low (almost coming to a stop at times). The oscillation is a medium quick 90°. No rattles, vibration, or clicking from the unit. Overall it seems smooth and quiet. Round base isn’t super heavy so not too bad to move it around. It feels stable enough but a mildly rambunctious dog or kid could knock it over. Slight negatives: no batteries for the remote (c’mon Honeywell...) Not a ton of vertical adjustment. You get about 5” from lowest to highest. The low speed setting is still pretty strong. The night mode still “gusts” fairly strongly, even on the lowest speed. I’ve never had a fan with a remote before but now that I have one it’s kind of handy. Unless this thing dies after a few months I have no complaints and would deem this to be a solid buy. I’m already thinking about getting another one.

> 3 dayI would give a total of 5 stars were it not for the instructions. I returned the last one because part was missing. It was nowhere to be found. It might be a good idea to include in the directions that the extender pole is recessed down into the lower pole. I know it was not in the last fan that I returned because I turned the lower pole upside down and felt inside and did not find that extender pole. I am not real happy that the blades are plastic not metal but since they are working fine, I will accept it. Perhaps all fans have plastic blades now. I am EXREMELY happy that it is made of metal and the base is very heavy weight metal so I am very confident that it is not going to tip over. I have not tried all of the settings yet as my friends from down the block came and assembled it for me as I had 2nd COVID-19 shot on Saturday and had some reaction with tiredness and muscle pain from that then fell on Sunday so -- altough I suffered no injuries thank GOD -- I am feeling pretty drained and weak still so just couldnt bring myself to attempt to assemble it. It works very well. I havent tried all of the modes to see if was whisper quiet at some setting but it is no louder than any box fan I have used and, in some instances, even less noise. When I feel up to it, I will try out the breeze modes because I do not have a clue what they are for. I am amazed that about the range of the remote control. The fan is sitting in the kitchen a room away at far end and the remote still works.

> 3 dayso far, its a better fan than my last one! Lets hope it lasts longer! Its got a strong wind but not too loud, the fan cover is all metal which means it wont snap easily. Lost 1 star for construction and the remote control. Mostly, it was easy to put together with all parts in situ and no tools needed--which is great--but there are no instructions on how to put the head assembly into the extension pole (I eventually found a youtube video). The remote control has symbols Ive never seen before and its hard to figure out. I only recognized the on-off button. Im gonna have to label it.

> 3 dayMy Duracraft fan was a gift for my wife and I when we we got married. over 20 years later it finally started to die. We live in a ridiculously hot state (AZ) and ran it every night for a decade, then the next decade I ran it in the window of our dining room into my office to save money on A/C costs. I didnt think anything could replace this fan... so I started looking for another Duracraft pedestal fan... but they no longer exist. Honeywell apparently bought duracraft and now make a similar pedestal fan but even better. I hope this fan stands the test of time as well! It is fairly quiet even thought I run it on high most of the day. The remote is amazing! No more reaching into the window and turning off the fan by hand.

> 3 dayGood Product. Honey Well obviously is a well known brand for their Fans and Heaters. I got the Black color, looks good and goes well with my bedroom interior. Just not too happy with the 3 Breeze Options. Not sad either, but just not how I expected it would be. The noice levels vary a lot when you use the Breeze options. Not too loud but not constant noise level with Breeze, which is the reason I don’t prefer using that option. But the 3 speed options serves my purpose. Remote control is great. Don’t go for any of those cheap brands available out there. You might think this is a bit more $$ than others but I would say it is worth the price when you compare the Quality and not just the cost.

> 3 dayThis year old reliable gave up the ghost and I needed a new fan since I cannot sleep without the constant noise. First I bought a lasko, the blade literally came apart during the night after a week. Replacement lasted almost a month and a half then the motor died. Initially I didn’t want a remote and all the features but it was hard to find a good cheap fan so I bought this. Within a week I love the remote and the fan. Has a metal guard and feels really well put together. My favorite thing now is with the remote I can cycle the oscillating button to turn the fan towards me if I’m warm or away if I’m cold and also change the speeds. It has a timer which is nice but I don’t use it and the breeze setting is nice but I like the constant speeds better. It is more than a lot of other fans but so far the quality is there and I learned the hard way I should have went with this in the first place. Definitely recommend this fan

> 3 dayI just unboxed and easily assembled my new fan. First impression was how heavy and stable this fan was. The base was vinyl lined metal and the stand and fan cage also metal. I’ve only been running it for a half hour but the double bladed fan is quiet and able to move a considerable volume of air. For this reasonable price, I was very pleased and would say that this fan is one of my more successful purchases.
