> 3 dayThe product is as described, easy to install and does the job. The mounting bracket it comes with is garbage and its surprising someone thought it would be acceptable to ship the product with it.

Greater than one weekThe ground pin on the 4-wire plug broke off even though its never been used. I installed this on my Ford van without too much trouble. I was able to get an adapter to plug right into the vans OEM trailer wire harness at the back of the van and plug the other end into the back of this adapter. I have to run the brake, 12V accessory and reverse light wires separately only because my van doesnt have those wires built into the tow package harness. The real downside to this adapter is the cheap manner in which it was made. The actual wiring side is fine. The plug itself is the issue. Its just really cheap and fimsy. The 4-wire connector broke off just by me removing the plastic cap a few times to test the wiring.

Greater than one weekI purchased this for an install of a tow package on my wifes 2011 Chevy Traverse. There really isnt any place to securely mount this on a 2011 Traverse. I had to fashion a 1/2 inch thick metal spacer to be able to use it. I dont recommend buying this for a Chevy Traverse as it wont work unless you have the ability to cut, drill and install a .5 thick piece of metal stock. It was a PITA but only took 20 minutes because my neighbor had a drill press and metal cutter. The product its self is well built and works. The supplied bracket is not overly sturdy and you must use caution when plugging in a trailer as it could easily be bent.

> 3 dayLove this adapter. Amazing adapter for the price. The mount is secure as long as you mount it to a stable place. Its very nice to have a 4 pin and 7 pin adapter all in one place. Installed this on my 2016 Chrysler Town & Country. I used

> 3 dayWhat arrived was exactly what I ordered. There is quite a price range on similar product and I went to the center as this is for my 1999 Dodge Durango that I use only to launch my boat. What I got was impressive for the price. Everything for a complete install was included (bracket, unit, wiring, screws, etc.) and the quality is good. I wasnt expecting the leads to be sealed (wax like substance to fight water/corrosion) and this is a bonus for guys like me (again, the Dodge stays at the lake snapped to the boat and is used to launch/retrieve the boat). Also, the leads at the other end (where the wiring connects to the tow vehicle) came pre-assembled with butt connectors already attached. Not only do you not have to supply the connectors to install (I know, not a huge expense but just to call it out), but what a snap to connect to your vehicle. Just put your tow vehicle wires in and crimp. Nice! The wiring is a quality grade and the bracket is sturdy. If you are price shopping and you choose this one, expect to get more than you paid for relatively speaking.

Greater than one weekInstalled very easily onto my existing 4-pole connector on my 1997 GMC pickup. Found a good lip under the bumper to bolt my bracket to, and made my own ground on the frame for the ground wire. Havent actually hooked it up yet, but a multi-meter shows 12V power in the correct spots when various vehicle functions occur: blinker, tails, brakes, etc.

> 3 dayThe number on packaging says 47185 but no bracket was included like some of the pictures show. As such, there is no way to mount it. It is useless without a bracket to mount unless you already have one or figure out which one to buy separately. As of Jan 2023, if you look at the photos for the product, you will see two different product packaging with the same 47185 item #. On one of them, the label makes it clear that the bracket is included. The other packaging does NOT indicate the mounting bracket is included. It seems I received the one without that didnt clearly list the mounting bracket as included. Since this item has been sold for years, Im assuming something changed over the years. Whether I received an old version, or a newer version of the 47185, I cant be sure. Either way, be aware there is a risk you are going to receive no mounting bracket. If you dont need the mounting bracket then this wont matter. However, I did and Im sure many/most do. If they sold the bracket separately for a few bucks, I probably would have just gone ahead and ordered the bracket. However, that doesnt appear to be the case, so I dont really know what they expect you to do.
