> 24 hourAbsolute steal for the price **EDIT: 12/13/18** Wow its been a year since I bought it! Im keeping this review 5 stars. This monitor is still going strong, and makes my other monitor look like crap. Im really obsessive about them looking the same, and I had to turn the brightness and contrast on the HP down a lot to make it look even close (why would I do that though) I believe LTT did a video on this monitor... they found that the actual panel is similar if not the same as the one that was used previously on the 21.5 inch iMacs. If thats true... well you gotta know this panel is good if APPLE uses it. In terms of durability Im not concerned at all. The heavy power brick has tugged on the power port a bunch of times (I know, I let it fall, Im bad) and its still as strong as ever. The only real downside is the back acquires some dust, but thats super easy to clean so I wont fault it. Overall, awesome deal! Recommended to friends!

> 24 hourOne of the best screens on the market, for a cheap price that it goes for. For a person who just has a laptop, and when ever i get back home i plug in my secondary monitor to do work on, or multitask, it is definitely bang for a buck. Why? For a person who does not edit photos, or look into image cleanliness or any other editing software too heavily, i believe this is a great choice. Would i recommend it? Absolutely! I might be a little bit different costumer for a product like this, because it is not a main screen, i tend to look at it 40% of the time im on my computer, but for a person who is using this as a main screen - go for it! And while youre at it, grab two! Why 4 stars then? No speakers. From an HDMI screen youd expect a speaker these days. No, i was not disappointed when i got it. I read the description and knew exactly what im getting, but its just that one small detail that lacks the perfect score. Mainly due to the fact, that my laptop comes equipped with weak and noisy speakers (in a bad way), thus making me resort to external audio sources.

> 24 hourMy wife decided she wanted her own little office space for her work computer for the rare days she works from home. I hate it when she uses my office since I have to disconnect the monitors from the main system and reroute to her laptop. So, I got her a desk for upstairs and a docking station. I already had a spare 21.5 inch monitor, but she wanted two monitors like she has at work. I found this product to be very affordable. I was able to hook it up quickly and I was amazed at the picture quality. I did not care for the placement of the input ports for the HDMI cables. They are right in the middle of the back of the monitor. This means the cable goes straight in making it hard to push flat against the wall or hand on a wall mount without the additional purchase of a 90 degree adapter. For the money, this product is well worth the purchase if you do not need to hang it or have it flat against a wall.

> 24 hourI found this monitor to have great picture and graphics for documents, pictures and website. It also is a decent size for a monitor. Not too big or small. I dont game but my daughter who is a gamer recommended this monitor which was recommended by her gamer friends. I do question the sense of sending a installation disk when most computers dont have a disk drive.

> 24 hourThese are run of the mill monitors. They arent gaming level but they are more than adequate for school or work. They were undamaged but had clearly been opened before. Packing materials were missing allowing the monitors to shift around in the box excessively. Luckily, there was no damage from the packaging. Cables were also loose in the box. No bag, no wire tie. No problem with the product thus far but they had both been open previous.

> 24 hourIve had this monitor for three years and it has worked great. A lot of people seem to point out that their monitor had died within a year, or there was something wrong with it after a short period of time. This did not happen with me, as mine is still working fine at the moment. The thing that I take issue with however, is the stand that the monitor comes with. This stand is really bad. Its not at all supportive of the monitor, so I instead have to hold the monitor up with books. This is unacceptable. The monitor does not even come with VESA support, so if I wish to buy a different (actually functioning) monitor stand in the future, I will have to buy some sort of HP to VESA adapter. This is really my one complaint that I have with this monitor, otherwise it works great. Pros: - Color is nice - Not Pricey - Relatively nice for basic functions (including non-high end gaming) Cons: - Monitor stand is not good - 60 Hz refresh rate

> 24 hourSo yellow tone modulation and picture quality are important for cramming to study/ get a paper done, and this guy really sends it, you cannot beat the sheer value of this monitor alone, I bought 2 for my new Mac mini, and honestly with a few mounts and a bit of patience, I use these monitors more now for my media viewing than I do from my 4k LG tv- Theyre pretty great not gonna lie. Things to consider: Each monitor comes with a stand, VGA cables, and a power chord - the power chord has a 1.5x2.5-3 box attached to it- thats the only thing youd have to plan for but the power chord should be long enough for most conventional desks

> 24 hourCrisp and vibrant display! Really fits the budget and delivers better than expected quality. Colors are clear and precise; watching videos is a lot more enjoyable with this monitor (especially videos of the 60fps type). I bought one of these monitors for my main computer and it was so good, I bought a second one for a computer in my shop. I plan to buy a third one here soon for a dual display on my shop computer. HP did a good job with this monitor. Installation of the stand is a breeze and you cant mess it up as the mounting spokes are made to fit only one size of the monitor so there is no guessing, just plug and play. Ports on the back are 1 power supply (included) 1 VGA cable connection and 1 HDMI. *NOTE: ONLY a VGA cable comes with the package, HDMI will have to be purchased separately. Other than that, great purchase, will definitely buy more of these bad boys. *UPDATE 23SEP2018: Monitors are functioning 100% as day 1. Other users are reporting problems or defects, I still have not had anything happen to me like they said happened to them. I am about to buy another one. The day these problems arise, I will update my review but as of now, everything is great! *UPDATE 12/12/2018 Monitors are fully operational and function as they did one day 1. Still impressed and satisfied with the quality of these monitors. I have a total of 3 and I am about to buy a 4th one right now.

> 24 hourI want to give this product 5 stars however it has a glaring problem. When there is too much going on on the screen, the screen darkens. I was watching netflix when it happened. The show was glitter force and well to be honest i did not see it coming but when the main hero glitter lucky used her attack or transformed the screen went dark. This isnt the only time it happened either. When i use a special attack in some video games that create a lot of particles on the screen the screen darkens as well. This darkening might be a problem with configuration and i have not found a fix yet or it is unfixable. I know it is the monitor as on my main screen, i do not have a screen darkening issue. This problem is worth noting but not worth scrapping the product. It works for what it is, a second screen, and is worth the price i spent on it. I also wish i could stretch the screen with the built in buttons as the controls for the monitor are less than basic. However it works for now.

> 24 hourOrdered this because I needed to quickly set up a remote work office due to the covid stay at home order and this was one of the only ones I could get quickly. Initially I had the same power issues others have talked about, or it was very touchy. Barely touch the cord and it would go off. Then I found out by accident that the transformer plug between outlet and monitor was not actually pushed in fully, though it sermed like it was. So if you are having this issue, give that plug an extra push; you may feel it go in deeper. Zero problems since discovering this! Been a great monitor for what I need (second screen paired with a laptop). Its not used for gaming - just standard office work.
